Chapter 30 - Kings talk

Since they attacked the Black Falcon Clan, Mina wants to take advantage of it, while on their way back, dropping by the Son Kingdom even just for a while.

surprisingly, Dubu approves it, Mina was over the moon when he said yes. The expressionless turns to smiles all the way in their journey.

Dubu laughs at her idiot expression, "ㅋㅋㅋ, Are you that happy?"

Mina still smiling ear to ear, "I'm not gonna lie, I am"

[in the Son Kingdom palace]

The Myoui troops take a rest, Dubu and Mina went inside to meet King Son.

[Royal Hall]

"welcome to the Son Kingdom, it has been a long time since you came here," King Son welcome them with a warm smile.

Dubu and Mina bow as greetings,

"how have you been? I think it has been a few months," Mina smiles back.

Dubu smiles and sits down, not knowing what to do, He never been to the Son Kingdom before, dumbfounded, Dubu just keep smiling while the two talking.

"what brings you here, princess Mina?" He asked.

"i am just dropping by after a journey and I want to meet your daughter," Mina said with sparkles in her eyes.

King Son laughs, "hahahah, i already informed someone to tell her, by this time she might know you came"

Mina nods, "I will wai—"

BRAK!

The sliding door was opened hard until it banged the wall.

King Son laughed at his daughter, "hahahah, Chaeyoung-ah, your frien—"

Chae immediately runs so fast and hug the penguin, so hard till they both almost fell from Mina's chair.

"ㅋㅋㅋㅋ" Mina laughs till her gummy showed.

Son Chaeyoung?? Dubu's internally screamed when he saw her.

"I MISS YOU SO MUCHHHH, HUUAAAA" Chae still tightly hugging her.

"I'm here, I'm here, don't cry, hahahah" Mina stroking the younger's back.

The two Kings could only laugh watching those two.

"father, can I bring Mina to meet our other friends? *sobs*"

Mina softly chuckles and wipes the kid's tears with her thumb.

"What if the black falcon clan is wandering in the town? your life is at risk, chaeyoung-ah"

Dubu helps, "actually, Myoui troops recently just attacked their base, however their leader escaped with few of his men to a Kingdom where i'm not familiar with but me and Mina saw a lot of Eagle crests" 

"ahh, the Kim Kingdom...," King Son muttered.

Kim Kingdom?? Both Dubu and Mina first heard the Kingdom, perhaps because their father never mention it to them.

"alright just for today, okay?" He smiled to his daughter.

"YEAYYY!! Thankyouuuu and byyeeeee~" Chaeyoung grabs Mina's hand and left in lightspeed.

Not long after, the room turns quiet.

Dubu stand up and bow politely, "I haven't properly introduce myself yet, I am Mina's brother, Myoui Dubu" He gives his best smile.

King Son follows him to stand and ask him to sit down, "I'm so happy to see you, hope we could get along well in the future"

"My father did mention King Son as his friend," Then Dubu pour the tea on the two cups, "and I have a plan to be allies with the Son Kingdom"

They both facing sideways, drinking the tea.

"I'm glad to know that Myoui and Son Kingdom stay to be allies" King Son stroke his own beard as he was kinda excited about it.

Dubu sudden confession, "umm, King Son, actually... when your daughter, Chaeyoung came to my birthday celebration, I planned to pursue your daughter. But after all this time, I didn't know where she came from, I only get to see her, when she came to visit my sister, I keep forgetting to ask her when we had a short conversation and now I'm here without knowing Chaeyoung is your daughter, I hope this a chance is given from the deity, i will not let this chance slip away, Will you let me pursue your daughter?"

King Son chuckles at how passionate Dubu is, "ㅎㅎㅎ, your sister, Mina is her good friend, i think it will advantage in every side,, then... what if i say yes?"

Hearing that question back, Dubu abruptly stands up, walk back and forth with that wide smile as he was too happy. He then hugs King Son, "Thankyou! THANKYOU!"

Royal life always been very polite and stiff, no such thing like jump in excitement or hugging will happen, King Son chuckles at how lighthearted this young adult can be, He then pat Dubu's back,

"ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ, i am thankful too, knowing a decent man like you pursuing my daughter, i will wait for the good news,"
