Chapter 12 - A Guest

After a few days of the journey, The Myoui armies arrived safely to their home, welcomed by the citizen cheers while they ride slowly on their horse on the way to the palace.

The emperor has reward The Myoui Kingdom a large quantity of food supplies and some luxuries royal item.

King Myoui announced a free breakfast on the next day for all the citizen, prepared by the royal kitchen. The setting was set in the middle of the town, everybody must queue to get a bowl of rice complete with sliced meats and various vegetables. Not only free breakfast, but every family will also receive 25 pounds of rice and 10 pounds of raw vegetables such as Korean radishes, cauliflowers, pumpkins, etc.

Dubu did make an appearance too, he was with his younger sister, Mina. They are together with the other soldiers, distributing the bowl of rice to the citizen, after 15 minutes, Dubu sits down on a big sack of rice, whispered "I'm tired Mina-ya, help your bro okay?" She couldn't take off the smile while distributing the food, but her eyes could glare at him while her lips is smiling.

Dubu plead with his both hands, "please...pleasee" Mina just sighed and keep distributing. "Yayyy, i love you my dongsaeng" then Dubu secretly escaped.

They distributed all the foods as well as the rice and the raw vegetables. Mina was exhausted even though she was just standing all day, sitting on the floor to rest for a while.

"Are you okay? my highness" ask from a soldier.

"Haha, I'm okay just a little bit tired"

The soldier gave her a glass of water, "please stay hydrated, I'm sorry if it's a bit—"

"It's okay" Mina took the glass and drink it, "thank you"

The soldier bowed "you worked hard, my highness" and walks away.

Mina stay there for a while, to relax her legs before going back to the palace then suddenly she sense a little bit dark and saw a shadow below her.

No way! It Can't be....

Mina looks up and saw an umbrella below her, "ahh, Nayeon, glad you're here"

Nayeon chuckles at Mina's reaction, then squat and help her up, "disappointed?"

Mina awkwardly chuckles, "Nooooo, Hahahah, let's go back, I'm tired"

"yes, princess" "but later when we arrive at the palace, I afraid you are unable to take a rest because the King asked me to bring you to his chamber"

"Why?" Mina look down, tired.

"I don't really know, princess,"

"Princess is here!" said the guard.

"There she is" King Myoui talks to someone.

"Father, why do you—" Eh!? Mina was surprised to see her friend here, "w-wh why do you ask for me, father?" hiding her surprised face.

"you have a guest from the Son Kingdom, she said she is here to see you," said King Myoui.

Chaeyoung wear her best smile till her dimple shows and she slightly nod her head, "Annyeong hashimnikka"

King Myoui chuckles, "ㅋㅋㅋ, now go, I have something to do, go and have some fun" He deliberately send them away.

"thankyou!" they bowed in unison and left.

"ㅋㅋㅋ, I received your letter yesterday and you said you miss me too"

Mina is frozen because the two-person behind them could hear it even though there is a gap like 2 meters. They are Mina and Chae personal bodyguard.

It's so... embarrassing

"Nayeon you can hang out with her, please excuse us," said Mina.

"yes, my highness" Nayeon slightly bowed and leaves with Chaeyoung personal bodyguard too.

"what's wrong?" Chaeyoung asked.

"are you crazy? saying those in front of them?" Mina frowned.

"hmm? you embarrassed?" Chaeyoung innocently asked her back.

"No it's not like that, just don't do it next time okay? and now I'm tired I spent my whole day standing, let's just sit down and relax somewhere" Mina flustered and changed the topic.

"Okay, so where are we going right now?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Hmm, I'm not sure, it's getting dark soon, let's just stay at your chamber for a while and I will ask my people to serve early dinner at your place, I'm famished," said Mina as they walk.

"yes, princess Mina" said Chaeyoung teasingly.
