Chapter 39 - koala boi

Another year has passed.

Ryuto could follow his father to the farm, but he needs to linger around his father or Sana won't let him follow Jeongyeon anymore.

But who knows? Sana is not there, if Jeongyeon didn't tell her, she won't know.

[at Jeongyeon's farm]

"Ryu-to-za-ki~ what are you doing???" Jeongyeon needs more energy to walk around, coz Ryuto is hugging Jeong's legs like a koala, wouldn't let go.

"hehehe" Ryuto just giggles, he likes to disturb his father working.

Jeongyeon ruffles the kid's hair, "be a good boy, listen to appa o? appa will buy alot alot toys for you"

Ryuto shake his head, "uncle tzuzu!"

Jeongyeon chuckles at that 'tzuzu' , "ooOoh, uncle Tzuyu???"

Ryuto rapidly nods his head, "um-hum!"

" ㅋㅋㅋ, don't you know uncle Tzuyu don't like bad boy who does not behave?"

Ryuto immediately let go of his legs,

so effective... he likes Tzuyu that much?

Ryuto sticks out his tongue at Jeongyeon before running around the farm.

oh gosh, that kid Jeongyeon facepalm himself, but smiled after that, reminiscing the scene when Chaeyoung and Mina running around in the farm.

Mina's daily life has become colorless, she thinks everyday is like the same day.

wake up,

tend the garden,

guide the soldiers train,

sleep,

repeat

even though sometimes they got order from the Emperor to join the fight, She only just do it since it's her job as a General.

Only Chaeyoung's letters could make her day a bit brighter, it could bring a smile to her face, which also bring a smile to Nayeon's face when she deliver the letter to Mina.

That's the only way for them to converse, They were not allowed to visit each other, especially after the rumour of Black Falcon Clan joined hands with a powerful Kingdom.

There were some occasions where Chaeyoung do send along some snacks or fruits like loquat, then Mina follows, sending sweets and fruits planted by herself.

Chaeyoung wrote on a fresh new paper, of course with a little strawberry drawing on the edge. She really loves to draw.

She usually writes how her day goes, she also tell Mina that Jeongyeon and Sana bring Ryuto every month. At first, her father only do that so Chaeyoung could at least hang out with them without leaving the palace, but He end up liking Ryuto so much, that he keep waiting for the day they will come. She felt that her father has forgotten that he has a daughter. ㅋㅋㅋ

Chaeyoung did wrote about Tzuyu visiting the palace together with them, where King Son get jealous over him because Ryuto keeps linger around Tzuyu, keep calling him "uncle Tzuyu!" "uncle Tzuyu!" not only that, Ryuto even wrapped his arms around Tzuyu legs like a koala. Chae explain a bit of Ryuto hugging his mom and dad legs, but will get scolded if he disturbs Sana, that's why he really likes to hug his father's legs, Ryuto likes to disturb him, besides Jeongyeon and Sana, Tzuyu is the first one to get his leg hugged by Ryuto. He must be fond of Tzuyu very much.

The truth is when Tzuyu visit Jeongyeon and Sana, He will bring Ryuto to play or walk around the town, everything that caught Ryuto's attention, He will buy without hesitation. No wonder Ryuto likes him a lot.

Chaeyoung also did send a drawing of Ryuto since Mina could not visit them as she wished too, she rarely talk to her brother, lesser than before, i.e. barely talk to each other, so getting permission is kinda troublesome. But she really wants to meet all of them so bad.

She swore to herself, she will talk to her brother to get permission, since she will need to borrow a few of the soldier to follows her.
