I absolutely love k-poppers, I'm one myself. There are so many kind and loving people in this whole fandom it's kind of overwhelming and heartwarming.

Then there are ones who are overwhelming in a bad way.

I don't get why k-poppers answer hate to our fandom with hate. That's NOT the answer. How about we show we are a mature fandom and handle it maturely? With reason and understanding? Not, " Lolz 1D sucks get a life #kpopisbetter."

No, No, NO.

You guys have to realize, no music is better then other music, it's complete preference. They don't like k-pop? Ok, great for them! Don't bash them for it!

Yeah, I prefer k-pop, I find it cleaner, more mature, and a lot more talented then Western music, but is everyone going to agree with me? Of coarse not! That would be stupid.

Take 1D for example. Do I think they are the most talented and deserve biggest boyband in the world? No, not really. But does that mean others can't think they deserve it and are the most talented? Of coarse they can! One Direction actually does have some talent, at least vocally. And for some people that's all they need. Don't bash someone for their preferences in music. I used to be picked on because I liked MCR and Coldplay, and now I'm being bullied for liking k-pop, I should know of all people.

Another topic I want to discuss. K-Poppers want k-pop to go mainstream. Into the radios of western countries. That everyone knows what it is, and everyone likes and accepts it.

No.

That's right, you heard me, no, I do not want this. I don't want it to be mainstream. Why? Well, once it goes mainstream, it kind of loses it specialness that made it unique. Of coarse I want more k-poppers, the more the merrier, but I never want it to go mainstream.

Another reason, once it loses it's unique touch, we do too. The music will sound the same, there won't be any real effort in there, the bright k-pop will become dull...because we will try to make it like western music.

We will make them sing and speak in English, to write cliche lyrics, to cut down on the dancing so they can sing live a lot more, and they won't because the companies don't trust the younger stars yet. The wardrobe won't be as bright. The culture not the same as it once was. K-pop will turn into western music, slowly fading away from the original. We won't be getting our Cray on.

Maybe I'm thinking way to much into it, but can it really be far from the truth? Anyone remember the song Happy? We all loved it at first and then it got played on the radio so many times we despised the song. Can the same thing happen to kpop if it goes mainstream?

K-Pop is something special. And I'd rather get judged that I like it, then let it turn into something generic and dull that it just loses it's spark. So I ask, do you still want it mainstream?

K-poppers, a message to all of you, please don't rub it into other people's faces if they don't like it. Music is a Preference, nothing is the best. Stop provoking them, because all we get is retaliation and a bad name.
