I just had the worst day. Ever. Why?

Because EVERYONE around me was referencing k-pop lyrics without them even knowing it! And I'm over in the corner trying to not burst out into song and dance.

Here's how my day went .

So I go to school, and today I had to wash and scrub potatoes for a German Dinner that's happening this Sunday. So After I scrub a potato I hand it to my friend, and he dropped one of them. I gave him a glare and he said, " Sorry, Sorry!"

And my SuJu fangirl was trying to escape out of me, and I rubbed my hands together casually...ok it was just me trying to hide the choreography, but I did it casually. That's the first reference.

So after the potatoes I went to Chapel, because we have that every Friday at our school. So while my pastor I hear " Come Back Home from one of the verses. And I am screaming in the inside trying to muffle my attempts to just sing " Come baby baby come come baby." I succeeded.

So after that there's Math...nothing happened, English, and then nothing happens until lunch. So I'm just sitting there eating the school slop, and then I hear from across the room really loudly, WOW.

AND I WAS JUST SCREAMING AT MYSELF TO JUST NOT SAY FANTASTIC BABY JUST ASDFGHJKL. AND THEN FIVE MINUTES LATER I HEAR FROM THE SAME TABLE SOMEONE SAY BOOM AND I WAS SO TEMPTED TO JUST SHOUT SHAKALAKA TO COMPLETE IT!!!

But no, that wasn't all.

So I go to Latin, and before the class starts, I saw someone accidentally push another kid, and I heard him say " Geez."

But I heard it as Gee.

So I'm just just shaking like a leaf in my seat trying not to burst out the chorus of Gee Gee Gee by SNSD. It was hard, but I managed.

My downfall came in science though.

So Im in astronomy right now in Science. And the teacher said something about Exo planet, and that was hard enough, but no, it doesn't stop there.

The stupid kid in the back of the class asked how to spell Exo.

And my teacher literally says:

E. X.O, like how Exo does in their songs.

And I did the most embarrassing I could do.

I started rapping Chanyeol's part in Growl.

You know, I didn't think learning a rap for 4 months would get me detentions on Monday afternoons, but I thought wrong! I shit you not, my inner fangirl just erupted and I started singing Chanyeol's rap part in Growl. In class. In front of all my friends and my teacher. And when I realized what I just did, I just shrunk back into my hoodie and chair absolutely mortified that I just did that in class. So I now have detention on Monday, and I just embarrassed myself in school. My reputation in school just went from 0 to -5! Let's all just clap for that please 👏👏👏🙌🙌👍👍👍

Why the fuck would I do that?! I'm a calm and collected person, but I just burst! I probably wouldn't of done that if I hadn't heard so many references in one day. The unintentional references destroy me I tell you!

So moral of the story, unintentional references to k-pop are your enemy. Never trust them!
