Putting their bags on their bed Sophie took a deep breathe and looked at the empty room. Even though it was tidy, you could tell it had been untouched for a period of time. The dust collected on the dressers and the sun that shined through the Crack in the curtain disappeared as the sun went down.

Unzipping the bag, she glanced behind her shoulder to see Brooke wall in slowly and stare at the wall. She wanted to run over to her and tell her it was all ok but in all honesty she wasn't ok. Her wound was healing but she hurt physically from it, and her mind hadn't glued all the pieces together so she couldn't deal with the trauma.

It's not that she was ruined or traumatized for life. She was just...

Copping.

Trying not to make it obvious she was watching her Sophie started taking out the clothes and laying them on the bed as Brooke walked into the bathroom while Slipping off her clothes.

She hadn't been able to clean herself for a while, and the doctors said she could finally. It wouldn't mess anything up, but it was going to be painful to raise her arms and reach around normally.

Leaving the stuff Mrs. Davidson stuck her head in to see her sitting in the tub crying with the shower head raining above her. She had pushed herself too hard.

"It's ok baby." Running over and getting in behind her with all her clothes on the blonde reached over her and turned off the shower. She put the tub on and let her fingertips touch the water to make sure it was the right temperature. "Talk to me please."

With closed eyes Brooke leaned back on the older woman letting her support her body. "It just hurts."

Nodding Mrs. Davidson cupped the water in her hands and dropped it on Brooke's shoulders. "Healing just takes time, Patience, and love."

Brooke turned her head to meet Mrs. Davidson's blue worked eyes. "Thank you."

Trying to fight the tears that wanted to flow out like a waterfall the blonde smiled, "I'm so sorry all this happened."

"We aren't perfect, and we aren't innocent victims Sophie, but this wasn't your fault."

Not hiding her cries anymore Mrs. Davidson placed her hand on Brooke's hair that laid on her chest and kissed her head softly.

"My dad hasn't come to see me."

"No he hasn't."

"He's still running for Mayor?"

"Yes."

Sighing Brooke listened to the ripples from the bath and closed her eyes enjoying the silence. Was there anything more calming than hearing water and feeling the warmth of Mrs. Davidson's arms?

Wincing Brooke turned her body sideways and laid herself on the older woman like a bed. She looked up and smiled almost asking with her eyes to come closer.

The blonde answered and wrapped her up in her arms. She kissed her lips softly and slowly and tried to be as delicate as a butterfly landing on a flower.

Even when they stopped kissing their lips stayed together and they let their faces rest upon one another not wanting to part. They felt like they had been without each other for so long that something as simple as a kiss on the lips was like a contract sealed with ink.

"We should rearrange the bedroom."

Laughing Sophie nodded, "Whatever you want my love."

"And paint."

She raised an eyebrow, "and new furniture."

"That sounds expensive."

"You're an expensive girl."

"Then it's a good thing I have a sugar momma." Using her old teacher to steady herself, Brooke got up trying her best not to wince and took a towel out of the cabinet.

Watching her for a minute Sophie bit her lip and looked down to see her soaking wet clothes that clung to her body. It was a horrible thing to refrain from making love to that girl. She was as beautiful as they came and she knew it. It was almost as if she held herself higher when she knew Sophie was looking at her.

Using her good arm to get out of the tub, the blonde slowly took off her clothes and looked in the mirror at herself. The wound on her arm would definitely leave a scar but the scar wouldn't be as bad as the one across Brooke's stomach. Taking down her hair and swishing it around she took a breathe and put her robe on before walking into the bedroom where Brooke neatly folded her clothes and put them into the dresser. "You're finally moving in hm?" She took a shirt and started folding it herself, "Officially I mean."

"It only took your ex-shooting me to realize it was time."

Handing the folded shirt over the blonde didn't know how to react to the dark humor but she laughed anyways. They stood in silence for a minute before Mrs. Davidson shifted her feet. "I need to talk to you."

Brooke nodded for her to continue.

Taking a minute Mrs. Davidson tied her robe tighter and fidgeted with the ribbons. "Should I still run?"

Closing the drawer Brooke smiled sweetly, "Why wouldn't you?"

"It's stressful! For you and I both and I'd be running against your dad and all the press cares about is the drama and scandals and and-"

"And that means nothing. You are a very smart woman. You know how to be a leader." Brooke took her hands, "We are a great story but we are an even greater couple." Narrowing her eyes for a minute, the brunette walked to the window and opened the curtains. "What do you want most in the world?"

"You." She answered.

"And you got me didn't you?"

Sophie nodded.

"It took some tough decisions didn't it?"

Swallowing her nerves the blonde nodded again not saying anything. She was afraid of what Brooke might decide to bring up. What did she know?

"Now you have the girl, what is next?"

"Mayor."

"And that's going to take tough decisions." Brooke crossed her arms softly and looked out at the moon that was half covered by trees and clouds. "You fell in love with me because I'm smart and I can keep up with you." She turned slowly and looked Mrs. Davidson up and down. "And I fell in love with you because your someone to admire, you're persistent and true."

Sophie walked over closer to her, "I won't be able to get far without you."

"Then I guess you need me." Brooke breathed letting her petite fingers take the woman's robe and untying it slowly. She looked up and down at the full curves that stood in front of her Brooke smirked and ran her hand down her stomach. "What's your real name?" She let her hazel eyes that shimmered green meet her blues. "Before Jerry."

"Anderson."

"Sophie Anderson." Brooke took her lovers hands and put them on her naked body to let her feel. "I guess we need to change your posters." She lead her to the bed slowly and sat down.

"Baby you are hurt, we can't do this." Sophie chuckled nervously. The woman who was so stoic and powerful was melting with love.

"I'll be still for you." Laying in the middle Brooke closed her eyes feeling the woman crawl on top of her and kiss her softly. She didn't care that she was hurt and in pain she needed this woman and she needed to feel her be desperate for her body. She needed to be taken in the bed that Jerry once laid in.

She wasn't mad, she forgave him the moment it happened.

But she did smile looking up at the ceiling knowing in a way she won.
