"This is a nice place." Toni said looking around his apartment.
"Being a retired drug lord really pays off huh." He chuckled, "you've always disliked the idea of a house." Toni smiled taking a seat on his sofa.
"I own your old apartment." Toni said causing him to freeze in his tracks and face her with his eyebrows raised.
"You do?" He asked curiously.
"Yes." She said before laughing, he sounded just like Kennedy there.
She straightened her facial expression and patted the space next to her.
"Come sit. We have to talk." She said.
He swallowed his saliva and nodded placing his phone and car keys down on the table walking over to her. He sat down and faced her, she took his hands into hers.
"Yoh, I don't even know where to start honestly." He shrugged realising how complicated it started out.
"I have a daughter." Toni blurted out immediately grabbing his full attention.
There was a moment of silence.
"Well congratulations. Is she Sean's? Y'all serious like that? You didn't share that part with me..." He trailed off.
She could sense the hurt in his tone.
"I didn't because we're not..." She shook her head placing her hand down on his cheek, "I named her Kennedy because that's the name her dad wanted me to give to her." Toni smiled.
"She turned six 2 months ago, on the ninth of April. Exactly a day before her dad's birthday." Toni stated watching how his eyes lit up.
"You're a dad and she's exactly like you." Toni smiled as a few tears fell from her eyes, "she loves when I talk about you. It brightens up her mood and she always talks about the what ifs, 'what if dad was here'."
Kenny smiled as a few tears slipped down his cheeks as well.
"I'm so sorry... I tried looking for you, I searched everywhere for you Toni. You moved out and you weren't in Maryland, you weren't in Atlanta either." Kenny shook his head wiping away her tears.
"I went to France." Toni sighed, "stayed there for 6 years and I only came back a month ago." Toni said.
Kenny studied her for awhile.
"You've been the hunter." He chuckled shaking his head, "excuse me?" She raised her eyebrows in confusion.
"Lydia. Michael. Carla." He said. "I'm impressed the bad bitch jumped out." He laughed, "because I thought you were dead you asshole!" She yelled smacking him.
"I apologize geez! How many times do I have to say sorry-"
"This is the first time you said it!" She scolded. "I like the fact that you were going after them, it just shows me that you really do still love me. The fact that you're even willing to go to jail for me-"
"I'm not going to jail, because I had it perfectly layered out. No traces left behind, nothing." Toni sternly said.
Kenny tossed his hands up in surrender.
"I wanna meet my daughter." He smiled, "damn. I'm a father." He grinned taking it all in. "With you..." He said in disbelief.
Toni chuckled lightly pulling out her phone. She went through her images and showed him a picture of Kennedy.
"Holy shit! I made this? You're lying to me!" He shouted. "I always knew I had powerful sperm's." He said in awe causing her to laugh.
"You're still as cocky as ever." Toni shook her head watching him study the image as he smiled swiping through a few of Kennedy's pictures.
"She looks like you." He said looking up at Toni. "Beautiful and perfect in all aspects."
"You're beautiful." Kenny said, "just perfect in all aspects." He added.
Toni cupped his face and kissed his lips.
"I missed you so much." She softly said againsthis lips. "I missed you too." He said gripping her waist.
"Don't ever leave me again, I don't think I'd be able to get over the pain." She weakly said placing her forehead against his.
"I promise." He said as they both shut their eyes taking in the moment before them.
She got up and held her hand out to him, he placed her phone down on the table placing his hand into hers getting up as they intertwined their fingers. She rested her head against his shoulder as they lead each other towards his bedroom. Toni moved in front of him and began to unbutton his shirt as he bit his lip watching her in the process. She removed his shirt and leaned up kissing his lips. He fiddled with the hem of her shirt, she pulled back and raised her arms allowing him to pull it over her head and drop it to the ground. Kenny unbuttoned her pants before he wrapped his arms around her waist lifting her up causing her to giggle as he pressed her down on his bed.
"I love you." He said, "I love you." She said back.
He leaned down whilst hovering over her and kissed her lips.
