Two week since I'm sitting in this chair, I've met mrs Claudette a few times and she brings bri bri come up to the hospital a few times. She's a real nice Christian lady we even have some praying session .

But guess what's the big news im baptized, yes I said it, I'm a different person now, when copper wakes I'm leaving LA I'm done with this life I want to live simple and get married one day.

"He..y" I heard a husky voice .

"Your up , thank you Jesus" I said jumping from my chair running over to him, I hold his hands as the tears run down my face, he even lost some weight.

"I am" he said trying to sit up

"No Kevin don't move imma get a nurse" I said moving from him

"No" he said moving the cords and sits up

I smiled at the sight" how you feeling?" I asked drying my face.

"Weak" he chuckled

"I can see that" I said smile and holds his hand

"How's bri bri?" he asked then starts to cough.I had to patted his back while he coughs.

"She's good with mrs Claudette" I said smiling while looking at him

"And you?"

"Doing good with the lord"I smirk

"What have gotten into you" he mumbled

"I'm baptized" I said proudly

"Get outta here you can't be serious" he waved me off

"Actually I am"

"Well let the church say amen"he joke

"Imma have to get going" I said while holding his hand

"Where you running off to?" he asked and starts to cough again

"I need to finish pack I gotta flight to catch soon" I told him

"Where?" he asked

"I'm leaving the L, starting over"

"Don't go as yet just wait until I'm out of here for good" he said squeezing my hand with the little strength that he has.

"I'll try, imma get a nurse"

I called a nurse and they came in they were happy and surprise to see that copper is up in such short period.

They had me sign up a few papers and tomorrow is the release date for him, so they checked up on him and run some more tests.

I went back into the room and he was drinking a can Gatorade that they gave him.

"You feeling better now." I asked taking the seat back beside him

"No, Exhausted , these doctors running needles in me everyday" he chucked

"That's how it is" I smiled

"I know right but can I just say one thing to you"

"Go ahead"

"Thank you, you have done so much for me you wouldn't even know it, you have stay here with me this whole time and take care of my daughter I appreciate everything that you have done, and I'm asking if there's a space in your heart to forgive me"

"I have already forgive you Kevin everything is good" my eyes began to get watery

"I'm not prefect but I love you maybe the break that we took we needed it I needed to realize how much I can't do without you"
