''This is exactly what I expect when I ask you all to act!'' Mr. Burns' loud voice downed me back to earth. ''Loved it, you two! Loved it!'' I smiled, dropping Leo's hand from mine.

Who does he think he is?

''What the hell Jones?'' I whispered a shout right in his face as he sat back down on our chairs.

''God damn, we're back in last name basis? But we just kissed...'' He pouted and I pinched the skin of his arm.

''You didn't have to fucking kiss me.'' I protested ignoring how amused he looked with my anger. It was like it added fuel to his interest, it was like it enticed him.

''Oh, c'mon.'' He smirked ''You liked it.''

''Don't flatter yourself.'' I quoted him, rolling my eyes, my arms crossed at my chest.

''You wouldn't have kissed me back, let alone like that.''

I opened my mouth at first but I couldn't argue. I did like it no matter how mush I wish I hadn't so I kept my mouth shut the rest of the class, but so did Leo, thankfully.

''Where are you going?'' He asked as soon as Mr. Burns dismissed us, reminding me of my anger.

''I'm going home.'' I answer tying my sneakers.

''Do you want a ride?'' He offered softly, showing me his helmet.

''No, I don't want a fucking ride.'' I said bitterly turning my back on him.

''Why are you acting like a bitch? I don't get it.'' He shook his head, breathing deeply.

''You kissed me!'' I said loudly enough for it to pierce his brain and remain there.

''Okay, and why is that bothering you so much?''

''Why's- I- Because-'' I stutter with my anger. ''I don't want to like you but you're making it fucking hard for me.''

''What?'' The boy's sharp jaw lifted with a proud, pleasant smile.

''Like you didn't hear me.'' I roll my eyes so far back I take a glimpse of my brain. ''Just leave me alone. Alright?'' I pleaded, honestly.

God damn, do I have to make a list of rules with every kid in this fucking university?

''Sure.'' He nodded, feeling emphatic to my clear distress. ''Though you should know I'm not like my cousin, much less like that Kavinsky kid.''

That what? How does he know?

I should have asked it out loud before he was too far to.

....

''Hey, you!'' I instantly smiled as my eyes landed on the black cat, sitting over the window's parapet. ''If anyone sees you peeking out there, we're gonna get in trouble so don't do that okay?'' As soon as I take Athena into my arms she begins to purr loudly, and I knew people said the companionship of an animal was therapeutic but I didn't know how much, her vibration would ease my discomfort.

As soon as I cuddled her and my heavy, throbbing head rested on the pillow I drifted away into unconsciousness.

''Hey.'' A soft voice whispered beside me. ''Hey, wake up!''

''What the hell?'' I screamed jumping up ready to square up with whoever dared to wake me up from my extremely needed rest. ''You want to give me an heart attack?''

''I'm sorry.'' Peter Kavinsky laughed loudly, falling back into Eva's bed.

''What do you want?'' I asked, my hand clenching my chest that was still heaving uncontrollably.
