"What the hell?" I whisper with wide eyes.

Why are we here? I look around the bus and noticed everyone else asleep. My dad didn't say that we would be coming here.

"Of course," I state, finally catching on. "My dad said he would find a way to cure my impulsive temper. This is it," I explain.

I hate being blind sided like this.

"I need to call Marcella and give her a heads up," I pull out my phone. "I can't risk anyone finding out about Xavier."

"Yeah, that's a good idea."

"Welcome to Marcello's Obedience School!" Lady Marcella greets. "My receptionist will get you all settled in for your stay."

"You couldn't give me a warning?" I ask once I catch up with my dad.

"You did get one," he replies, walking ahead.

Lady Marcella had my old room cleared for me just before we arrived. I'm glad that it is a good distance away from the others. After chatting briefly with my dad, I found out we're only staying for a week. I picked up the key and made my way to the room.

I helped myself to breakfast in the cafeteria then excused myself so that I can see my son. I had him switched to a private room in the nursery unit. Surprisingly, he's still sleeping; He is usually awake at this hour.

I sat next to the crib gently caressing his dark, silky hair as he slept.

"I've missed you so much," I whisper. "I'm sorry things aren't the way they're supposed to be but mama is going to fix it. I promise."

I still can't believe I'm a mother. Here I am sitting next to a being that I created so perfectly. Although he may not have been with me physically for the past months, he's always on my mind.

Xavier started to stir awake so I picked him up from the crib. He tensed and whined briefly before relaxing. I kiss his nose making a small, adorable smile appear on his face. As the drowsiness slipped away, he grew more excited.

"You missed your mama too," I chuckle, my heart warming. It's a relief that he recognizes my face and scent. How devastated would I be if he didn't.

"I need to see you in Lady Marcella's office," my dad links.

"Can it wait?" I ask.

"Excuse me?"

I know what that means... I'd better get my ass to her office without any further questioning or complaint. I kiss my son, placing him back in his crib then make my way to the office.

"Come take a seat," Lady Marcella smiles brightly at me.

"Is this going to take long?" I ask.

"I'm sorry, do you have somewhere to be?" my dad asks.

"No," I huff and sit down.

"Carry on," he tells Lady Marcella.

"Okay," she pulls out a folder and places it in front of me. "Here is your schedule for all of the Anger Management and Discipline classes we assigned you."

I'm staring at a list of ten classes total. How the hell am I going to get this done in one week? I frown at the paper.

"This is ridiculous," I comment. "There is no way I'll finish."

"Oh, yes there is," my dad retorts. "And they'll be completed with a one hundred percent."

"Dad, this is nearly impossible." The lowest percentage to pass anger management is an eight-five. He's trying to kill me.
