Sophie felt her heart burst. Fitz was her number 1! He really was! Oh wow! Oh joy! She was so excited! She started doing a happy dance in her room but then stopped. "I would rather not relive that, thank you very much" said Vertina. She frowned and then disappeared. Sophie rolled her eyes and made herself comfy. She then looked at her scroll.

50... Jensi Babblos... 23.... Tam Shong... 10... Dex Dizznee... 2... Keefe Sencen... 1... FITZ VACKER!

She put the scroll on her bedside table and made herself comfortable.

Silveny?

Silveny?

SOPHIE? FRIEND! FRIEND! BABY OK!

And you? Greyfell?

OK, OK!

Good!

GOOD, GOOD! SOPHIE OK?

I'm great!

SOPHIE NEED SLEEP? SLEEP? DREAM?

Yeah, I do.

OK SLEEP! SOPHIE SLEEP! GOODNIGHT!

Goodnight!

And so Sophie fell into a peaceful sleep filled with Alicorns and clouds.

The next day, Sophie woke up at 10am. It felt nice to finally have a good night sleep. She hadn't had one in weeks. She begrudgingly got out of bed and walked downstairs where she had a quick breakfast. Edaline then asked a question. "So... did you open your scroll?" "Yeah." "Who did you get as your number 1?" she asked. "Uh... F-fitz. I got Fitz." She then scampered up the stairs to pick an outfit.

She had gotten special permission from Alden to go to the human cities- in Italy and France for a few days with her friends. They didnt need supervisors- Fitz, Tam and Lhin were already 18. She had packed her bag the day before, an Elvin suitcase disguised as a human one. She then looked at the human outfits she could wear.

All of them had been based on the latest trends that were popular in America. Edaline and Della had recreated them to perfection yet Sophie still felt confused as to which one she would wear. She finally picked a Jean, Adidas and simple white shirt with black stripes, which completed her outfit. She let her hair down in her flat, blonde look.

Her identification necklace had been changed to a simple, thin chained necklace that changed look depending on her outfit. Satisfied with her style, she grabbed her suitcase and bag and on a last thought, stuffed he scroll into the suitcase. She ran downstairs and kissed Edaline and Grady goodbye. "You make sure those boys treat you with respect, or else I'll get involved!" said Grady. She laughed, ran up the stairs and light lept to Everglen.

"Sophie!" Biana shrieked. "Who did you get!!" she yelled. "I'm... not telling you. Yet." Sophie grinned devilishly. She was dragged past the gates and into the house where the whole gang awaited. Fitz smiled, Keefe grinned, Dex waved, Tam looked down and Lihn said a small hey. "Are we ready?" asked Fitz. "Heck yeah!" "Let's do this!" "Sure" "Can't wait!" "After you, Foster" They were all so pumped. They said bye to Alden and Della, held hands and lept for Paris.

They stumbled in an alleyway. "Alright, let's find a bank machine!" declared Fitz. They marched off quickly and found a 'bank machine' as Fitz said. Dex rigged the system and got 1,000 euros and they looked for their hotel. Tam and Lhin were amazed and Biana had to stop from drooling over the store fronts. They finally found it, a beautiful hotel in  the Montmartre district. They checked in, Sophie as translator, and went into the elevator and up to their rooms.

The girls had their suite and the boys theirs. They were beautiful rooms. 2 bedrooms in each with king size beds and an adjoining room in between with couches, a huge TV and a million dollar view. It looked over Paris in almost it entirety, with the Eiffel Tower off to the side. The rooms had a grey, white and  black theme with vintage brown furniture.

The girls threw their things onto the beds, Biana and Sophie sharing a room. They quickly unpacked and grabbed their things, ready to go out and be real tourists. "Om gosh, I saw these beautiful  clothes in this storefront, Louis Vuitton I think was the name, and then the jewelry. Swarovski, yeah, it was that. I cant wait!" Biana gushed. They all laughed and scampered down the stairs. The boys were waiting.

"What took you so long, ladies? Foster holding you up?" Keefe asked. Sophie blushed beet red and they all laughed. They left the hotel and left in search for the nearest Metro. After a 5 minute search, they found the metro, and after looking for directions, they found a VERY complicated map. "Ok, so we wanna go Notre Dame, right? I think it's the orange line? Or maybe the blue? Yeah, I think it's the blue. Right. ok." Sophie muttered.

"Its the Orange," said Fitz. He smiled and handed her a ticket. Everyone else had already left ahead and it was just them. Sophie blushed (again) and they slid past the ticket area and entered the metro. "You ok Sophie?" asked Fitz in English. Siphie immediately caught up and said. "Yeah. Just a little... overwhelmed." she said. "You wanna talk about it?" asked Fitz as they walked. "I'll tell you tonight."

Right at that moment, the noise if the metro arrived and Sophie and Fitz immediately began running. They jogged down the stairs and slid into the other's car, right before the doors closed. "Phew! That was close" said Sophie. Just then, Fitz met his eyes with Sophie's. He smiled and Sophie gently smiled back.

This was going to be a great trip.
