Chapter 5: Good-ByeAfter the incident with Sourge and Fiona, Tails took, Cream, Tikal and Rouge home.Knuckles and Shadow walked with Sonic, Amy was already at home waiting for Sonic. "So Sonic what are you going to do..." Sonic stopped walking and looked up at the moon, "There is only one thing I can do Knuckles..." Knuckles looked at Sonic, "Oh Yeah and whats that..." Sonic looked at Knuckles and Shadow. "You'll find out...soon.."Sonic looked down at the ground, "It's just when I killed Eggman I thought that it was over...I could give Amy a nromal life but I will always have enemies..." "Maybe I don't desverve her..." Shadow put a hand on his shoulder, "Sonic listen.." Sonic looked at Shadow, "Do what you gotta do...just remember you will always have friends to come back to..." Shadow then smiled, Knuckles did to. Sonic smiled, "Thanks" Knuckles then pushed Sonic away, "Now go on get outta here...you need to go and see your wife..."Sonic smiled "Yeah.. Bye Guys" Sonic ran at fast speed to his house, his tux was wripped, he had cuts on his face and arms.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Amy was sat on the bed, she was still in her wripped wedding dress, she stared at the candles she lit which were on the bookshelfs, "Sonic would never..kill someone...he would deffinetly not...hurt me..." Amy looked down at the ring on her hand, "..But to lie to me about his nightmares..." Amy looked up at the ceilng, "Please don't...let him leave me...even if he doesn't trust me...I still care about him very much..." Amy then heard a noise at the window, the curtains blew in the wind. They blew open, to reveal a sad blue hedgehog. Amy stood up and walked over him, she seen the cuts on his face. Amy touched his face, Sonic moved his face slightly. Sonic took off his jacket, Amy helped him take off his shirt, Sonic winced in pain. Amy placed her hands on his face gently, Sonic looked into her eyes and smiled. He looked at her arms and seen bruises from where he grabbed her, he kissed her arm gently, "I'm so sorry Amy..." Sonic whispered, he then kissed her neck. Amy blushed, "Its okay..." he kissed her cheek, then kissed her on the lips.Amy kissed him back, Sonic unzipped her dress. Amy blushed and stepped out of the dress, Sonic kissed her again. Amy pulled her quills out of her hairband, her long curled quills slowly fell down on to her shoulders. Sonic walked over to the bed holding Amys hand, Sonic was on top of Amy looking into her emerald green eyes. "I Love You" "I Love You Too" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The next day, Sonic was mving head from side to side and sweating, he then heard a gun shot and his eyes opened wide. He looked to his side to find Amy laying on her stomach.Sonic turned and lay on his side smiling at the sleeping beauty beside him, Amy slowly woke up, she turned and seen Sonic smiling at her. "Morning..Amy.." Amy smiled and kissed Sonic on the lips, "Morning.." Sonic sat up and got out of bed, he sat at the edge of the bed. Amy crawled over to him, using the quilt to cover her naked body. She wrapped her arms around him from behind, "Whats wrong..." Sonic looked at her arms, "Amy..why do you still love me after what I did to you..." Amy smiled, "..Because it wasn't your fault..." Sonic moved away from her and turned to face her and kneeled infront of her."But what if I hurt you again...and it was worse than last time..." Amy seen how serious and sad he was about it, "I..I...Dont Care!" Amy jumped on Sonic and wrapped her arms around his neck, "Are you going to break our promise!" Amy started crying, "..Amy...." Sonic hugged her back, 'I'm...sorry Amy...'~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Later that day, Sonic was sat outside looking at the moon, thinking, Amy was sat on the couch. She heard Sonic stand up and start walking away, Amy instantly stood up and ran out the door. "Sonic!" Sonic stopped in his tracks, "Amy I'm Sorry..." he started walking away again, Amy started crying, "No! You Promised!!" Sonic stopped walking, Amy ran up to him and hugged him from behind. He heard Amy crying, Sonic gritted his teeth, not in anger in sadness trying his best to hold back the tears. Sonic then lifted Amy onto his back, Amy still hugged him. Sonic then ran off, he didn't know where but he wanted to spend a little more time with her.Amy opened her eyes, she seen tears coming from Sonics eyes, she started crying harder, she closed her eyes tight, "I Will Always Love You Sonikkuu!!" Amy shouted as she was crying. Sonic and Amy reached a lake where they went to Valentines Day, Amy got off of Sonics back, "Do you remember when you gave me a rose and said that you would never leave me again..." Sonic looked at Amy and nodded, "I'm sorry it has to be this way..." Amy ran into his arms and started crying, she tried punching him but she couldn't becuase she was too sad. "Why does it have to be this way!?" Sonic closed his eyes, "I'm Sorry Amy.." Amy continued to cry, "You can't have a normal life with me...not if you will always be put in danger..." Amy looked at him, "Since I was little my life has never been normal!" Sonic put a hand on her cheek, "I Have to go, Just remember that I will always love you...and only you.." he handed her a red rose, Sonic kissed her forehead, Amy closed her eyes. Sonic let go of her, he started walking away. Amy watched him walk away, she walked a few steps but stopped, he wasn't running away because he couldn't protect her, he was going away so he could protect all of his friends. Sonic looked back at Amy "Good-Bye Amy Rose...I Will Return Someday.." Amy nodded, "I Know You Will..Sonic the Hedgehog.." Sonic looked the other way, he took a deep breath trying to hold back the tears again. He started walking away not looking back, soon Sonic was out of sight.Amy smiled, tears appeared in her eyes again, Amys smile disappeared. She fell to her knees, she looked at the rose in her hand, "Why did I let him go!!" Amy continued to cry, "It's...Its Not Fair!!" Amy looked at the rose again, remembering all the times Sonic was there when she was in trouble,'Sonic...you would always come running when I was in trouble...even though you didn't show that you cared...I knew you did..'Amy remembered the time Sonic confessed his love to her, Amy fell on her side crying.'He's Gone He's Never Coming Back...I Know It!'
