Chapter 7: Team-Up!, Secret Out? Knuckles was walking through the city, he seen Amy sat on a bench looking at a couple with a baby. Knuckles walked up to her, "Hey Amy.." Amy didn't answer, Knuckles waved his hand infront of her face."..Hellooo..." Knuckles seen what Amy was looking at, he sat down next to her, Amy then noticed him. She looked at Knuckles, "What were you looking at Amy.." Amy then paniced, "Umm uhhh nothing actually..." Amy giggled nervously."Where were you going...your usually guarding the Master Emerald..." Knuckles smiled, "Nothing for you to worry about...I left Tikal there for the time being...." Amy looked at him curious, "..Yeah umm sorry for grabbing you yesterday..I was kinda angry...you know cuz..well..." Knuckles looked away from Amy.Amy smiled and stood right infront of Knuckles, "Knuckles! Could it be you were going to say Sonic is your Best Friend!" Knuckles looked at her, "Ofcourse not!" Amy closed her eyes and looked at him laughing, "You can't lie Knuckles!" Knuckles smiled, "Okay you got me.."Knuckles then stood up, "Well I'm off there something I need to do..." Amy giggled, "And Whats that..to tell Tikal you love her..." Knuckles blushed, "No!!" Amy smiled, "..I know you like her.." Knuckles smiled and walked off, "Bye Amy!" Amy laughed, Amys eyes widened, she put her hand to her mouth, "I...just laughed..and smiled.." Amy then smiled.Amy looked at the little children in the park, she looked up at the sky, "Sonikkuu...Please Hurry..."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Shadow was sat outside a cafe watching everyone walk past, Rouge hung upside down on a tree beside him. Rouge then seen a red headed Echidna, "Hey..isn't that Knuckles over there..." Shadow looked across the road, "Yeah..I think your right..." Rouge jumped off the tree, "Hey Knuckles!" Rouge and Shadow walked over to Knuckles, Knuckles looked at them, "Heey Guys..." Rouge smiled, "Soo where are you headed then..." Knuckles crossed his arms, "I'm going to find Sonic...and help him destroy Scourge..." Rouge was surprised, "Wait a minute...since when did you care about Sonic the Hedgehog!?" Knuckles looked away from them, "Rouge has a point there..." Shadow said agreeing with Rouge, "Look the only reason I'm going to find Sonic and help him is to make Tikal happy and not worried about him, and so Amy can be with Sonic again..." Rouge looked at Shadow, Shadow nodded, "Hey Knuckles do you mind if we come along and help..." Knuckles started walking away, "Fine..if you want to..." he stopped and snikered looking back at them, "As long as you dont kiss on the way then I'm fine with it..." Rouge looked away not finding it funny, Shadow blushed a bright red, "Hey and whats it to you if I kiss Rouge or not!!" Knuckles ran away laughing, Shadow ran after him, Rouge shrugged and started walking, "Boys..will be boys" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Amy decided to go for a walk, Tails was walking around the streets. He then bumped into Amy, they both fell to the ground, Tails rubbed the back of his head, "Sorry about that!" Tails opened his eyes and see who it was, "Amy.." Tails stood up and held his hand out, "Sorry Amy.." Amy took his hand and Tails helped Amy up, "Whats wrong Amy..." Amy looked down at her stomach and looked away, 'I can tell Tails...Tails is Sonics bestest friend...' "Amy..??" Amy looked at Tails with a serious face, "Tails I...I..have to tell you something..because your Sonics bestest friend!..." Tails smiled, "Ofcourse Amy you can tell me anything!.." Amy looked down at the ground, "Ummm...uhhh welll...ummm I..I'm..having Sonics baby.." Amy covered her face with her hands. Tails was shocked but smiled, "Dont worry Amy! when he comes back I'm sure you can tell him..." Amy looked up at Tails. "..But...what if he never comes back..." Tails put his thumb up, "Dont worry..he'll come back...even I have to find him myself!.." Amy smiled, "Thank You Tails!!""Amy..?" Amy looked at Tails, "Yes..?" "Can you take me to the place you last seen Sonic..." Amy was confused but nodded.Amy then started walking into the forest, Tails followed her.Amy and Tails finally reached the lake, Tails was amazed, "Wow this place is really nice..." Amy felt uneasy, "Amy which direction did Sonic go.." Amy pointed in the direction, which was infront of her. "Okay lets go-!" "I'm Sorry Tails..." Amy shook her head, Tails looked at her confused, "Whats wrong..." Amy backed away, "I can't stay here...all I can remember is Sonic walking off...and I don't want remember!.." Amy then ran off, tears falling from her eyes. Amy ran faster and faster, Amy was then on a beach, she then tripped over a stone. She landed face first onto the ground, she lifted herself onto her hands and knees. She had tears running down her face, "Sonikkuu...help me..." Sonic stopped walking, his eyes widened, "Amy..." he whispered her name. He looked up at the sky, "I thought I heard Amys voice..."Sonic looked down at the wedding ring on his finger, "Amy...are you still hurting inside..." Sonic then remembered Amys cute smile, "..I want to see your smile again..." Sonic looked down and started walking again.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tails went back to his workshop, he made preperations to the X-Tornado. He jumped in, "Okay time to find Sonic!" Tails then took off.Tails flew above the city, hoping to see a streek of blue light, which would be Sonic, but sadly there wasn't.Tails then flew past the lake, "Come one Sonic where are you..."*************************************Rouge, Shadow and Knuckles were walking through the forest, Rouge was getting tired. "Knuckles...can't we stop walking for a while..." Knuckles still kept walking, "You stop if you want to...cuz I'm not.." Shadow looked at Rouge worried, "Are you ok..." Rouge smiled, "Don't worry...My feet are just swore.." Shadow stood infront of her, with his back turned. He took hold of her legs, Rouge was then on top of his back, he started walking again. Rouge blushed lightly but wrapped her arms around his neck from behind. "Shadow...?" "Yeah..?" Rouge smiled, "Thank you..." Shadow felt tense for a moment but shook it off. "What for..?" "..For always helping me..." Shadow continued to walk, "Its nothing...you are my greatest friend...and partner..." Rouge was shocked, "I'm...your friend..." Shadow stopped walking and looked over his shoulder at her, "Ofcourse..." Rouge blushed and hugged him, "Thanks.." Shadow blushed but started walking again.Knuckles then heard a plane engine, "Whats that noise..!?" Shadow shouted over to Knuckles, Knuckles looked up and seen the X-Tornado, "Its Tails!" Knuckles then ran, "C'mon Hurry to the edge of the cliff!" Shadow ran holding onto Rouge, Rouge held onto him tighter, afraid she was going to fall off. Knuckles started waving his arms, "TAILS!!!" Tails seen Knuckles, Shadow and Rouge, he smiled. Tails flew closer to the cliff, Rouge got off of Shadows back. Knuckles ran and jumped of the cliff, he landed on the wing of the plane.Rouge walked over to the edge of the cliff, the cliff started crumbling. Rouge then fell, "Rouge!" Shadow ran to her and caught her and jumped off the cliff, he landed on the plane.Rouge was breathing heavily as was Shadow, Shadow looked at Rouge, "I thought I was going to be too late..." Rouge smiled, "..Your the fastest thing alive.." Tails flew over the forest, Rouge sat on the wing of the X-Tornado."Hey Tails I guess your looking for Sonic too!?" Knuckles shouted over the noise of the plane engine, Tails winked at them, "You know it!" "Here goes another Adventure!" Tails shouted in a cheerful voice. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Damn that stupid Hedgehog!!" Scourge shouted as he punched his computer, "How can his darkside be powerful than mine!" Fiona walked over to him, "Scourge don't worry..I'm sure you have something else in mind for him..." Scourge laughed, "Ohh believe me I do..." Scourge faced the otherside of the room. "Haven't we..." Scourge smiled as he seen glowing red eyes, "Metal Sonic.." Metal Sonic nodded, "Yes Scourge..." Scourge laughed.While Sonic was walking around her seen an abandoned building, he walked inside, he heard someone laughing. His eyes widened at who he heard, "Scouge!?" Sonic ran in at full speed and punched him in the face, Sonic grabbed Scourge by his leather jacket, "What are you planning on doing now!!!??" Sonic gritted his teeth in anger, "Well look at who it is everyone!!" Sonic looked at Scourge confused, "Everyone..?" Scourge grinned evily, "Look for yourself Hedgehog!" Sonic turned, his eyes widened in horror."M..Metal Sonic!!" Sonic stared at him in anger, "You were killed in that Lava!!!" Metal Sonic laughed, "Well Dr.Robotnik Left me a copy of the other Metal Sonic!" Metal Sonic shouted in his matelic voice."What!" Sonic ran to Metal Sonic and tried to kick him, Metal Sonic kicked Sonic into the wall.Sonic gritted his teeth in pain, he got up, Metal Sonic punched Sonic through the wall.Sonic landed on the ground outside the building, Metal Sonic jumped out the building, he shot down towards Sonic, before he could hit Sonic, and ball of fire shot at Metal Sonic. Sonic seen the purple cat he seen a week ago, "Blaze!" Blaze stood infront of him, she ran towards Metal Sonic, she kicked him in the face three times, but it had no effect on him.Blaze then ran and grabbed Sonics arm, "Ah- Wait!" "Do you want to live or not!!" Blaze then jumped up and landed on a building, she ran and jumped on a few other buildings. Blaze brought Sonic to a small building, "You should be safe here.." Sonic moved his hand away in anger, "Why did you take me away from there!" Blaze looked at him, "That was my only chance to stop him!!" Blaze pushed him, "They could have killed you!!" Blaze walked over to the wall and sat down, "You have no idea what he is going to do!.." Sonic got more angry, "I Don't care I could have ended it there!!!" Sonics fur started to turn Dark. Silver ran into the room, he grabbed Sonic before he could hurt Blaze. "Sonic!! Calm Down!! Your Anger is Rising!!" Sonic started to calm down, he fell to his knees breathing heavily. Silver ran to Blaze, "Blaze are you ok?" Blaze smiled, "Don't worry I'm fine..." Sonic sat against the wall, "Sorry about that...that was my darkside...you never saw before..." Sonic turned to face Blaze and Silver, "What am I supposed to do for now..." "You will have to stay here...for a while...so we can help you control your anger..." Sonic looked at them, "For how long..?" Silver looked down, "A few months.." Sonic looked down in sadness, 'Amy...' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tails and the others were still flying around, until they came across another city. "Hey Guys I think we should stay here for the night and try again tomorrow!!" Tails shouted over the engine of plane.They all agreed, Tails then flew into the city. They all went a hotel, "Now this luxury!" Rouge said as she was getting off the plane, Shadow held his hand out, Rouge took it and Shadow helped her off the plane."Guys I think we need to find Sonic fast..." they turned and looked at Tails, "Why..?" Tails looked at the ground, "I don't know if I'm allowed to tell you guys..." Knuckles was confused, "Tell us what!?" "That Amy is pregnant." Tails said in a fast tone, Tails then covered his mouth, "Uh Oh..." Knuckles, Rouge and Shadow were all shocked, "Please don't tell Amy I told you!!" Knuckles thought for a moment, "So thats why she was staring at the kids in the park...she was thinking about her own baby that she is having..." Rouge smiled, "Well what are we waiting for...lets get some sleep so we can go and find Sonic." Everyone agreed, they all went into the hotel, Knuckles and Tails shared a room, Shadow told Rouge he would sleep outside, but Rouge insisted he sleep with her. They all fell asleep waiting for the long days to come.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Amy went back to her house, she went up to her bedroom. Amy leaned against the door, she took a deep breath and let it out. She went over to her bed, she got a suitcase, she packed all her clothes. Amy looked at the ring on her finger, she took it off, she put a chain through the ring. Amy put the chain around her neck, Amy stood up and took hold of her suitcase.Amy walked to the front door, she opened the door and walked out the door. Amy turned and faced the house, she put her hand to her stomach, "Looks like it's just us two..for now.." Amy smiled, and a tear fell from her eyes, Amy turned and walked away. Amy was still smiling, because she was remembering the parties she and Sonic got up to in the house, or when they would always snuggle up together and watch a movie, or just the regular fun and messing around. Amy arrived at her old house, which Vanilla helped her get back.
