Chapter 14: The LetterIn a dark castle in Mobotropolis, Mephiles was in a dark room, he was sat on a chair smiling. Beside him was Shori, she was blind folded, "where am I...?" Mephiles looked at Shori, "don't worry Shori...your safe now..." Shori recognised his voice, "are you the one who came to me in my dreams..." Mephiles stood up and stroked her head, "Yes...I have always been with you...I am your other half...the dark half of you...I was the one who helped you get away from your father..." Shori looked down, "My daddy..." Mephiles looked down at her, "Shori you have a gift...a most wonderful gift..." Shori smiled, "really!? What is it!?" Mephiles started laughing, "oh you'll find out soon...you just need a little more time..." Shori nodded, "Ok!" Mephiles started walking away, "we just need our little guests to make the transformation complete..." - - -Everyone was in Tails' workshop, Amy was staring out the window, her eyes were dull and no happiness or spark of light were in her eyes. Sonics was angry, he punched the wall. "Shit!! Why couldn't I have been there!!" Knuckles grabbed Sonics arm, "Sonic calm down!" Sonic fell to his knees, "...now Shori is-""Don't say it!!" Sonic looked at Amy, Amy gritted her teeth as tears fell from her saddened eyes. "we all know it's my fault!! I was the one that sent Shori away! I put her in danger!" Amy fell to her knees, she covered her face with her hands. She cried harder, Tikal and Blaze placed their hand on her shoulders. "SHUT UP!!"Everyone looked at Tails, "Shut up!...this isn't like you two!...you would never give up so easily...If you knew someone was in trouble you would go and help them no matter what the cost!"Knuckles and Shadow nodded in agreement, "Tails is right..." Tails had small tears in his eyes, as he remembered all the times Sonic or Amy saved him. "But It's Shori who is in danger! Your own daughter! a-and she needs you!!" Amy smiled slightly, "your right...I shouldn't be here...I should be finding Shori..." Amy stood up and ran out the door. Sonic watched Amy run out the door, he stood up and ran after her, "Amy!!" Amy ran through the night street, the rain was pouring down her long quills, Amy didn't care she continued to run, even though she didn't know where Shori was, she wanted to run away from everything. Amys tears continued to fall, Amy started breathing heavily, trying to catch her breath as she ran faster. Amy stopped running, she fell to her knees breathing heavily. "Shori...Someone give me a sign! Help me!!" Amy stopped screaming as she seen a small piece of paper fall from the sky."What..." Amy picked it up, she started to read it, 'Amy Rose,If you want to see your Daughter again you will come to Mobotropolis. The old Castle of Queen Aleenas, is where we will be!' Amy gritted her teeth in anger, 'Shori...' Amy dropped the letter and ran off to the train station, a woman hedgehog in a hooded gown ran over to the letter and looked at it, she gasped, "Oh No..." she ran off.Sonic stopped running, "Amy! Amy!!! Where are you!?" he looked around him, he then sighed and went back to Tails' workshop, Tikal looked at Sonic, "Where is Amy?" Sonic fell on to the sofa, "I don't know...I couldn't reach her in time...she's gone..."Shadow and Rouge walked over to the door, "me and Shadow will look around the city for anything suspicious..." they ran out the door, Tikal and Knuckles nodded, "Sonic me and Tikal will see if the master emerald can help us..." Sonic nodded.They both ran outside, Blaze and Silver ran out too, "we will try and look for Amy!" Cream and Tails left the room, to leave Sonic to himself. Sonic hid his face in his hands, "everything I had is gone...my daughter...my wife...everything...even my happiness..." Sonic leaned back he then fell asleeap, the hooded woman walked into the room, she walked over to Sonic, she placed the letter on his lap. She slowly stroked his cheek, "my son...when you wake up...you will know where your happiness is...everything will turn to happiness again...I Promise..." She kissed his forehead, and ran out the door, Sonics eyes shot open, "huh whos there!?" Tails ran into the room, "Sonic what's wrong..." Sonic stared at the door, he stood up, he then noticed the letter on the ground.Sonic took hold of the letter and read it, he looked at Tails, "Looks like we are going to Mobotropolis!" Sonic ran to the X-Tornado, Tails nodded, "Ok!" he jumped in, Cream was sleeping on the chair. "Ok Sonic here we go!!" Sonic smiled and nodded, the X-Tornado took off, on the way, Rouge appeared on the wing of the plane followed by Shadow, Shadow smiled, Looks like you found out where she is!" Sonic nodded. Blaze and Silver appeared on the plane too, Silver gave him a thumbs up, Blaze looked at Sonic, "Sonic we didn't find Amy!" Sonic nodded, "I know where she is! she is in Mobotropolis!" Blaze nodded, they flew past Angel Island, the X-Tornado stopped, everyone looked down at Knuckles and Tikal, "Yo Knuckles! Tikal! You coming!?! We know where they are!!" Knuckles and Tikal looked up, Tikals hugged Knuckles, "You go Knuckles I will stay with the Master Emerald." Kncukles blushed slightly, "Ok." Rouge started laughing, "Aww look at Knuckie all blushing!" Knuckles looekd at Rouge, "hey Shut It Rouge!" Knuckles ran and jumped onto the X-Tornado, Tikal waved as the plane took off."I sure hope they aren't too late..." Tikal said in a sad voice, the chaos flew over to her with worried faces, "Chao Chao!" Tikal smiled, "Don't worry I'm sure they will make it." The chao smiled, "Chao! Chao!"- - -Amy was running through Mobotropolis, she looked in the distance and saw Aleenas old castle, she ran over to it. 'Shori...I'm almost there!'Amy ran through the castle gates, she reached the doors and pushed them open, "SHORI!!"Mephiles was in the ball room, smiling, "She is here." Amy heard Mephiles' laugh, she ran to where it was coming from, and reached a huge ball room. Amy stopped running, she growled as she saw Mephiles, "nice to see you Amy Rose the Hedgehog." Amy got out her gun and pointed it at him, "give me my daughter!! Now!" Mephiles smiled, "now that isn't a very nice thing to say...whatever happened to greeting your friends first!" Amy smiled, "unfortunately your not my friend!!""So Where is Sonic...does he still not care about his daughter enough to come and save her at her last innocent hour!" Amy gritted her teeth in anger, "Sonic does care about Shori!!" Mephiles clicked his fingers, "That's not what Shori thought." A light clicked on, Amy seen Shori sat on a chair, blind folded. "Shori!!" Amy ran over to her, Mephiles punched Amy back, Amy fell back and hit her head of the hard floor. She sat up holding her head, "what are you going to do to her!" Mephiles started laughing, "Once Sonic comes here! Shoris dark power will react with his! Shoris true dark power will awaken! and causing the death and destruction of the planet!"The X-Tornado flew over Mobotropolis, Sonic then seen his Mothers old castle in distance, "There Tails!!" Tails nodded, "Roger that Sonic!!" The X-Tornado flew over to the castle, Sonic, Shadow, Silver, Rouge, Blaze and Knuckles jumped off the plane and fell down towards the castle. Sonic speed dashed through the ceiling, Amy looked up and seen Sonic she gased, "NO!! Sonic!!-" Mephiles kicked Amy ino the wall, Amy fell to her knees, Sonic looked back at Amy. "Amy!!" he ran over to her, "Amy! are you ok!?" Amy held the back of her head in pain, her head felt wet, she looked at her hand, her hand was covered in her blood. Sonic started growling in anger, "MEPHILES!!!!" Sonic ran to Mephiles at super speed, Mephiles smiled and stood behind Shori. He wrapped his arms around Shori, "I would be careful of your anger Sonic..." Sonic growled louder, as he watched Mephiles arms wrap around Shori made his blood boil. Mephiles smiled as he seen Sonics fur turn darker, Amy gasped "Sonic No!!! Don't turn dark!!!" As Sonic turned dark, purple light surrounded Shori, demons rose from the ground. One came running towards Sonic, Amy ran to Sonic.She hugged him, the demons claw scratched her back twice. Sonics eyes widened, "Amy..." Everyone screamed, "AMY!!!!"
