Chapter 10: Together We Made A Promise, A Room For Someone SpecialOn the beach lay the small pink hedgehog, Amys eyes opened slowly, her vision was blurry for a couple of minutes, her vision then cleared up. Amy sat up she looked around, the sun was shining bright as the waves of the ocean moved.Amy was confused, "Was it all a dream..." Amy put a hand to her stomach, she then felt a small kick. "No...it wasn't a dream..." Amy looked up at the sky, "..Sonic and Scourge..did it...they stopped Metal Sonic...""But...how did I get here..." Amy thought for a moment, Amys eyes were teary, "No...he couldn't have left again..." Amys tears fell from her eyes. "Sonic..." Amy looked beside her and seen a pink rose, she picked it up and smiled. "Sonic...you promised me that you would never leave me...and you kept that Promise..Thank You..." Amy seen a golden yellow light shine behind her, the light disappeared. She turned and seen who it was, it was Sonic. Sonic walked over to her, he was no longer Super Sonic. Sonic fell to his knees infront of her, he took hold of her hand, he looked down at the ground. "Amy...I'm so sorry...I didn't want to leave you all alone..." Amy smiled, "..I never stopped thinking about you Amy...not ever.." Amy lifted Sonics face to face her, he seen Amys smile, Amy hugged him, "I was always thinking of you too..." Sonic wrapped his arms around Amy, "I Promise I will always be there for you..." Sonic let go of Amy, Amy shook her head "No.." Sonic looked at her in disbelief. Amy smiled, "You can be there for both of us..." Sonic looked at her confused, "..Both of you..??" Amy took Sonics hand and placed it on her stomach. Sonic felt a kick, "Amy...your having a baby..." Amy smiled and nodded, "yes...Im having your baby..." "When did you find out.." Amy looked away from him, "..I found out three Months ago...a week after you left.." Sonic looked down in sadness, "I'm sorry...I should never have left you!.." Amy leaned against his chest, "Its not your fault..you didn't know..."Sonic smiled and hugged her, "I Promise I Will never leave You or the baby..."Amy nodded, Sonic looked into Amys eyes, he kissed her, Amy kissed him back.Sonic stood up and helped Amy up.Amy and Sonic walked hand in hand back to Amys house, "Sonic..can I live with you again..." Sonic looked at her confused, "Weren't you already staying with me.." Amy looked down, "No..I got my own house back..because I didn't want to stay in the house when you weren't there..." Sonic tightened his grip on her hand and smiled, "Ofcourse but what are you going to do with your house..." Amy smiled, "I have an Idea..." When Amy arrived at her house, she packed her clothes into her suitcase. Amy looked back at the house, she locked the door. Sonic wrapped his arms around her from behind, "Its a new beginning...me, You and Our Baby..." Amy smiled and nodded, they started walking back to Sonics house.They arrived at Sonics house, Amy went upstairs and lay on the bed. She soon fell asleep, Sonic walked up stairs and seen Amy sleeping. Sonic sat on the bed next to her sleeping body.He stroked her quills gently smiling at her, "You've given so much Amy..." Sonic looked out the window, "You've given me love...and now your giving me a family..." Sonic looked down at Amy, he leaned down and kissed her on the lips gently, he moved away from her and looked at her sleeping face, "Thank you Amy.." Sonic stood up and looked over at her still smiling, he thought for a moment and had an idea. He kissed Amys forehead and jumped out the window and landed on his feet, he sped off in to the city.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~2 Hours later Sonic was back at the house, he was in the guest room. He looked at the room and smiled "I hope Amy likes it..." Sonic walked into his bedroom, he seen Amy sat up with her eyes closed. He walked over to her quietly, he surprised her with a kiss on the lips, Amys eyes opened wide, she then closed her eyes and kissed him back. He smiled at her, he took hold of her hands, "Come with me I have a surprise.." Amy smiled, "A surprise!" Amy threw the quilt of her and stood up. Amy started walking ahead, Sonic ran infront. "Okay stop here.." Amy did as she was told, Sonic covered Amys eyes, he then opened the door. He held Amys hand and led her into the room, "Okay open your eyes..." Amy was shocked at what she saw, Amy then smiled. There was stuffed animal toys on a shelf, and a small baby bed. Amy still smiled, she took hold of one of the stuffed toys, it felt so soft. Amys eyes started to tear up. "Do you like it.." Amy turned to face him, Sonic seen her tears, "You dont like it do you.." Amy still smiled, "Sonikkuu...I love it..." Sonic smiled, Amy walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him, "I know its not much but...I promise I will make it up to you...""Thank You Sonic..." Sonics smile went away, 'Why...do I feel like...something is going to happen again...but something sad..' Sonic thought to himself.Sonic lifted two cans of paint, one pink and one blue, "Ummm I didnt know which one to get...cuz we dont if its a Girl or a Boy yet..." Amy giggled, she put rubbed her stomach, "I have a feeling it will be a girl..." Sonic smiled bigger, "You never know it could be twins..." Amy looked at him, "even so...I would still love them all the same.." Sonic looked out the window, "6 Months left...feels like it will be born tomorrow...." Amy smiled, "Yeahh it does doesnt it..." Amy then remembered something, "I forgot to do something!.." Amy then ran down the stairs, Sonic ran after her, "Amy where are you going...your in no fit state to run!.." Amy looked back and winked at him and smiled, "Don't worry I will be fine!.." Amy then ran outside, she ran to the city.Shadow and Rouge were sat at a cafe, Rouge was eating a Ice-cream Sundae. Shadow was looking up at the sky, "Rouge! Shadow!" Rouge and Shadow looked to see who it was, it was Amy. Amy stood infront of them breathing heavily, Rouge pointed at her, "You know your in no fit state to run around..You might fall and hurt the baby.." Amy frowned, "You sound just like Sonic.." Shadow stared at Amys stomach, "Your getting bigger everyday, Rouge glared at him and punched him, "Leave her alone.." Rouge then looked at Amy, "Anyway...what did you want from us..." Amy smiled, "You and Shadow are together right..." Rouge blushed and looked down, "Ummmm I...I don't know...I'm not good at expressing my feelings..." Shadow looked away blushing, "Well maybe we are....maybe we aren't..." Shadow looked at Amy, "Why do wanna know.." Amy smiled, "Well now that Sonics back I moved back in with him...and I was wondering if you wanted my house..." Rouge looked at her, "Your giving us your house...for nothing..." Amy nodded, Rouge smiled, "Well I do have feelings for Shadow...but its up to Shadow if he wants to stay with me..." Shadow looked at her in disbelief, Amy blushed slightly in excitment that Rouge finally confessed her feelings towards Shadow. Rouge looked away blushing, Shadow helld Rouges hand from under the table, he looked at Amy, "I only have one question.." Amy looked at him, "And whats that.." Shadow smiled, "When can we move into the house..." Amy cheered, "You can move in right now if you wanted to!" Amy sat the keys on the table. "Good luck!" Amy the ran off. Shadow looked at Rouge, "So...You have feelings for me.." Rouge was still looking away from him, she was smiling, "I always have.." Shadow smiled, "Well I feel the same way..." Rouge turned and looked at him, Shadow surprised her with a kiss on the lips. Rouge blushed, he moved away from her, "and thats my proof.." Rouge smiled and stood up, she grabbed the keys, "Lets have a look at our new house..." Shadow smiled and ran off, "Come on then!" I was worried when you left like that!" Sonic ran up to her and hugged her, Amy giggled, "Sorry Sonic I just had to see someone.." Sonic looked at her, "Who..?" Amy smiled, "Rouge and Shadow I gave them my house...turns out the are actually together!.." Sonic smiled, "I knew it would happen sooner or later..." Amy and Sonic laughed.Amy and Sonic went inside, Sonic sat on the sofa, he pulled Amys arm as a sign to sit next to him. Amy smiled and sat next to him, Amy then lay down on his chest, a tear fell from her eyes,'Please...don't take Sonic away from me...or my baby...'
