Bonus Chapter: Family Trip, Story Of The PastIt Had been 5 years since the birth of Shori, she was a small five year old girl. The daughter of the great heroic hedgehog, Sonic and kind Amy Rose. It was a bright sunny day, two weeks after they went to the park. Shori was in her bedroom looking out the window, "Im soo bored..." Shori sighed. Shori turned and ran downstairs, Amy was in the kitchen reading cook books, while Sonic was on his usual run around the city."Mommy...I'm bored..." Amy turned and looked at Shori, Amy sat on her knees. "Your bored..." Shori looked down and nodded. Amy thought for a moment, "Why don't you go and play in the garden..." Shori sighed, "Okay..." Shori walked over to the door, she opened it and walked out into the garden. She looked over at the other children with their parents, Shori sighed, "I Know! I will go see Tails!" Shori smiled and ran to Tails' workshop.Tails was in his workshop, Shori walked in, "Hello Tails!" Tails turned and seen Shori smiling at him. "Hey Shori!" Shori walked over to Tails, Shori then something glowing, she looked at in amazement. Tails looked at her, "Thats right you haven't seen one of these before..." Tails lifted up the gem, "What is it..." Tails handed it to her, "They are called Chaos Emeralds..." Shori took the chaos emerald from Tails, Shori smiled at the emerald. Shori handed the Emerald back to Tails, Shori went and sat down, she sighed. Tails looked at her worried, "Whats wrong Shori...you look kinda down..." Shori looked up at Tails, "I want to spend time with my mommy and daddy..." Tails looked at her confused, "Well why can't you..." Shori looked down sad, "My Mommy is always busy cooking and cleaning...my Daddy is always out running around..."Tails sighed, 'Thats just like Sonic and Amy...' Tails thought to himself. Tails then smiled, "How about you ask your Mom and Dad to take you on a trip...then you can spend more time with them..." Shori looked at him and thought for a moment, "A Trip..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Later that day, Shori was walking home, Shori looked around seen something shining through the forest. Shori ran through the forest, she got closer to the glow, she gasped at what she saw, she saw a beautiful lake shining in the sunlight. Shori ran over to it, "Waw..." Shori looked around, over in the bushes something caught her eye, Shori ran over to the bushes. Shori gasped, "A...Chaos Emerald..." Shori lifted the the light blue Chaos Emerald up and walked over to the middle of the grass. She lay down and looked at the Chaos emerald in her hand, she put her hands down to her side she looked up at the sky, "This place feels...familiar..." Shoris eyes slowly closed, she fell asleep. Meanwhile... Amy was in the kitchen cooking a cake, after she was finished she went outside. "Shori! Its time to come in it's getting late!" Amy waited on an answer, Amy walked around the corner, "Shori..." Amys widened, Amy noticed Shori wasn't there. Amy ran into the house, "Shori!!" Amy ran to Shoris bedroom, "Shori!" Amy noticed that she wasn't there either. Amy ran to the phone, she called Cream and Vanilla, the phone was ringing."Hello ?""Hello! Vanilla!?" "Yes""Have you seen Shori Anywhere!?""No I haven't Why??" "Shori...she's gone...""What! What do you mean she is gone!?""She isn't in the house or in the garden!" Amy had tears in her eyes, "Okay me and Cream will have a look around for Shori...""Okay Thank You!" Amy put the phone down, "I should have watched where she was going...I'm a horrible Mother!" Amy broke down crying.Sonic was on his way back from his running around, "Time to go back to my wife and daughter!" Sonic ran as fast as he could home. He opened the door, with smile waiting for Shori to tackle him to the floor. He looked around confused, "Heyy Amy! Shori! I'm Back!" Sonic went to the kitchen and seen a note!" Sonic looked at the note, and started to read it out to himself."To SonicI Had to leave as soon as possible!! Something bad has happened! Meet me at Tails workshop.From Amy~"Sonic gasped and zoomed out the door to Tails workshop, "Amy!" Amy looked up and seen Sonic, Amy ran to Sonic, tears running down her cheeks. "Amy what happened!?" Amy looked up at Sonic worried, "Its Shori!" Sonic looked at her worried, "Why What Happened!?" Amy looked down, "Shori has disappeared...I told her to play in the garden...and when I told her to come in cuz it was late...she wasn't there..." Sonic held Amy in his arms, "I'm such a bad Mother!..." Sonic held her closer, "Your not a bad Mother...I should have been at home watching her with you..." Tails walked in, "Sonic, Amy I have to tell you something..." Sonic and Amy looked at him, "What... do you know where Shori is..." Tails looked at them, "Shori came here earlier...she was kinda upset..." Amy looked at him worried, "Why was she upset..."Tails smiled alittle but still worried as them, "She wanted to spend more time with you...but she said that you were always cooking and cleaning and Sonic was always out running..." Amy looked down, "Well it may be true..." Amy looked at Sonic, "We have been ignoring her alot...do you think she ran away..." Sonic put his hands on her shoulders, "Amy you can't think like that...she must be at the park or something..." Amy looked at Sonic, "I don't want Shori to hate me..." Sonic laughed slightly, "Shori doesn't hate you and I know it..." Amy looked up at Sonic, "Lets find Shori thats best thing to do..." Amy nodded. Amy and Sonic was getting all friends to help look for Shori, Amy and Sonic ran to all local parks looking for her. Tails got in the X-Tornado flew around looking for Shori, Cream and Vanilla were asking people if they had seen Shori. Sadly no one had seen her, Tails was looking around worried. Amy ran to the beach, but sadly she had no luck. Tails landed the X-Tornado, he ran over to Sonic, "Sonic! I Couldn't find her..." Sonic looked at Amy and seen that she was exhausted, "Amy why don't you go back to the house and see if anyone has left a call or something...and I will stay out here and look..." Amy nodded, and ran back home. Sonic looked at Tails, "I have a feeling she is in the forest..." Tails looked at him confused, "But how would you know..."Sonic looked at Tails seriously, "Becuase if she isn't at the park or the beach or in the city...then she will be in the forest...she loves to explore new places just like me..." Tails smiled and nodded, "Okay I will stay out here and watch for her incase I see her..." Sonic nodded and walked into the forest. "This forest is where I left Amy all by herself when I went to fight Scourge..." Sonic started running, he then seen the lake. Sonic stopped when he seen who was there, "Well look who I found..." Sonic walked over to the little girl lying on the grass sleeping soundly, Sonic bent down shaking her, "Shori...Shori!..." Shoris eyes opened slowly, she sat up like a zombie. She looked up to see who had woke her up, her eyes widened, "Daddy!" Sonic sighed, "You really scared Mommy and me...you have been gone for hours...Mommy is really worried about you..." Shori looked down sad, "Im sorry..." Sonic ruffled her hair, "Come on lets get you home..." Sonic lifted her up, Shori looked over Sonics shoulder. She looked at the Chaos Emerald in her hands, "Emerald..." Amy was stood outside the front door, she looked up and seen Sonic walking towards the house, "Sonic!!" Amy noticed Shori in his arms, Sonic put Shori down. Shori ran to her mom. Amy ran to Shori, Amy hugged Shori, "Shori! Your ok!" Shori smiled, and nodded, "Mommy I'm sorry..." Amy looked at Shori and shook her head, "No we're sorry...you should have told us you wanted to spend more time with us..." Shori looked down, "I'm sorry..." Amy just smiled and hugged Shori, Shori looked at Sonic, "I want to go on a Trip!" Sonic looked at her confused, "a trip...?" Shori nodded, "Yes a Trip!" Sonic looked at Amy, Amy still smiled and nodded. Sonic smiled, "Ok a trip it is!" Sonic put his thumb up at Shori and winked at her, Shori did the same, "Yay!" Amy giggled. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The next day, "Shori are you ready to go!?" Amy shouted, Shori smiled and ran down stairs, "Yes!" Amy and Sonic took Shoris hand, and they walked to the train station. Amy, Sonic and Shori got on the train, Sonic smiled, "You know I think this our first trip..." Amy smiled, "Yeah I think it is..." Shori looked at Amy and Sonic while eatching a sandwhich, "Mommy did you and Daddy ever go to places together..." Amy looked at Shori and smiled, "Me and your Dad went to all different places..." Sonic smiled, "Yeah..." Shori smiled, "Where did you both go..." Amy looked at Shori, "We went to a lake for a special day...even went up in the sky once...we went to the beach too..." Shori giggled, "And don't forget the park!" Amy laughed, "Yeah and the park..." Sonic laughed.After they got off the train, they were walking along a beautiful feild of flowers. Amy and Sonic sat on the hill watching Shori run around in the feild of flowers, laughing, enjoying herself. Amy looked at Sonic, they smiled at each other, Amy lay her head on Sonics shoulder, Sonic held Amy close to him. Later that day, Amy, Shori and Sonic were sat under the trees, the sun shining brightly. "Shori do you want to hear about how Mommy and I got together and our adventures..." Shori smiled and nodded, "Yes Please!" Amy smiled, "Well you heard about when Mommy and I went to the park right..." Shori nodded, "Well turned out Mommy was cryinging because she had no place to stay..." Sonic remembered the time when Amy was sat on the swing crying. Shori looked up at Sonic, "Daddy helped her right..." Sonic smiled and took hold of Amys hand, "Ofcourse I did I couldn't just leave Mommy all alone...so I let Mommy stay with me..." Shori smiled, "then when it came to Winter... Mommy developed a bad fever and had to stay in bed for a couple of days...so I looked after her...when Mommy got better...we went out to the garden and it was snowing..." Shoris eyes shined and the thought of snow, "And at that moment...I told Mommy how I really felt about her..." Shori looked at Amy, Amy was blushing slightly, Shori giggled. "Then one day someone I really hated came and tried destroying the city...so I tried to stop him...but I got hurt really badly..." Shori looked at Sonic worried, "But Mommy came and hit the controls of the robot which sent it to self destruct...but what I thought was unbelieveable was that...Mommy was willing to sacrafice her life for me..." Amy smiled, "...After that Me and Mommy made a Promise to never leave each other..." Amy looked at Shori, "I will never forget that Promise..." Amy said as she closed her. "Then there was a time when the same bad guy came back...it was a big battle...and I thought Mommy was gone forever...but somehow Mommy came back to me, but only for just a moment and then she disappeared..." Amy tightened her grip on Sonics hand. "Then thanks to our friends Blaze and Silver I Found Mommy again...here in these feilds of flowers..." Shori looked around amazed. Sonic looked at Shori, "Mommy was always very special...then I asked Mommy to marry me...but Mommy wanted to think about it first..." Shori gasped at her Mommy, "Mommy why did you want to think about it!?" Amy laughed slightly, "Ummm well I thought I wasn't good enough for Daddy...but Daddy told me I was perfect for him and so I said yes..." Shori calmed down and smiled, Sonic then continued the story, "Then it finally came to our wedding day...but we bumped into more trouble. After that I went back home to Mommy, because I did something bad to Mommy I said to her, 'why do you still love me after what I did to you...' but Mommy said It wasn't my fault but I didn't want to put her danger...so I left Mommy all alone." Shori looked down sad. Amy smiled, "But I had a secret of my own..." Shori looked her Mom, Amy looked at Shori, "I found out I was having a baby...which was you..." Shori smiled so did Sonic, "Thanks to Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Rouge I was able to tell Daddy...But Cream and Vanilla helped me through the first 3 Months without Daddy...but their was another battle to be fought...Thanks to Scourge all the fighting had come to an end...and I was able to live with Daddy again...and Daddy promised to look after me and You..." Sonic looked down in sadness, "Then it came the greatest day ever...the day you were going to be born...but before Mommy was ready to give birth...Mommy got really sick and was really weak...Mommy was rushed to hospital...and Mommy was trying her really best...to bring you into this world...it felt like years had gone by and you wouldn't be with us, then you were born...but Mommy-""Daddy..." Shori looked at her Dad with worry in her eyes, Sonic noticed he had tears in his eyes, "Sorry Shori...it's just It was a painful memory..." Shori looked up at Sonic and Amy with sad eyes, "Why...what happened..." Sonic looked down, "Mommys body was growing weaker and weaker...we all thought Mommy had died...but she was close to dieing..." Shori looked at Amy with tears running down her face, "Mommy..." Amy held Shori in her arms, "Shori why are you crying..." Shori looked at Amy, "Becuase you nearly died...because of me..." Amy looked at her shocked, "It wasn't your fault...sometimes things like that happen for no reason at all...but I would never blame you...I didn't care if it took my life away...as long as you were here I didn't care." Shori hugged Amy, Amy held Shori close to her. Sonic smiled, "But it Doesn't matter now Shori...Because we are together now...we're a family...right?" Shori looked at Sonic and smiled, "Yes! We are a Family now!" Amy smiled."Now we just have to look at the future...right Shori..." Shori nodded, "Daddy what are Choas Emeralds..." Sonic looked at her, "How do you know they are called..." Shori smiled, "Tails showed me a Chaos Emerald...but when I was at the lake I found one the exact same but it was different colour..." Shori took th elight blue Chaos Emerald out of her pocket and showed Amy and Sonic. Sonic took the Chaos Emerald, "Well we have lots of stories about these gems right Amy?" Amy smiled and nodded, "Yes lots of stories!" Shori smiled. "Tell Me the stories! Please!"Sonic laughed, "Heh Heh Okay Okay" Shori looked up at Sonic, "Well these gems aren't like other gems, they can turn me into Super Sonic...but there are 7 all together...I have fought many battles to get these back or to defeat evil...everyone looks up to me as a hero..." Shori smiled, "Waw Daddy your a hero!" Sonic smiled, "Well tahts what people call me..." Shori giggled. "There are other hedgehogs just like me...like Shadow and also Silver..." Sonic continued his stories which were always amazing and magical to Shori. Sonic took hold of Shoris hand, 'Shori I Hope That One Day You Will Have Great Adventures like Me And Your Mother Did...Thats My Wish For You...'
