Chapter 7: Back Together? + Shoris illnessSonic stared at Amy, Amy moved her hands away from her face, she looked at Sonic and then the floor. "Ok..."Sonic smiled slightly, Blaze looked at Amy, "I will see if Shori is ok..." Amy nodded, "Yeah...Thanks..." Blaze walked into the bedroom, Amy walked over to the kitchen table and sat down, Sonic sat infront of her, there was awkward silence between them. Sonic took hold of Amys hand, "I'm really sorry..." Amy moved her hand away from his, "I can't trust you Sonic..." Sonic looked at her, "Isn't love about trust...if you love like you said you did...then you still trust me..." Amy never answered him, Sonic smiled, "what if I told you...that it's over between me and Sally...and that I still love you..." Amys tears started forming in her eyes, "so...you think I would take you back...just because your not seeing her anymore...you really are an idiot..." Amy stood up and walked over to the window, Sonic stood up and walked over to her, he fell to his knees infront over her, "Amy...I know I let you down but...I'm never going to make that mistake again...I Promise!" Amy looked down at him, she seen how serious he was. "What about Shori...you hurt her so much..." Sonic stood up and looked into Amys eyes, "I never meant what I said...I was just ashamed that you found out what I did...I was confused...but I will never say something like that to her again..." Amy stared into his green eyes, Sonic wiped away Amys remaining tears, they both leaned in for a kiss, until Blaze walked in worried. "Amy!" Amy blushed slightly and looked at Blaze, she seen the worry in Blazes eyes. "Amy! It's Shori!" Amy and Sonics eyes widened in shock, Amy ran into the room, Sonic turned on the light. Amy noticed Shori was breathing heavily, Amy placed her hand on Shoris forehead, Amy gasped. "A Fever!" - - - Half an Hour Later...Sonic called Tails, Tails came over. He checked Shori, he looked at Amy, who was worried sick, "There is nothing I can really say...it seems to be a common cold...but the fever for a common cold is never this high...I have a feeling it's something else...but everything is showing it to be a regular cold..." Amy sat on the bed beside Shori, she took hold of Shoris hand, Amys tears fell from her eyes. Tails walked out the bedroom, Sonic walked out too, Tails looked at Sonic, "Theres another thing...her fever maybe because she might be developing some of your powers..." Sonic looked at him confused, "Powers?" Tails smiled, "Yeah...you know like your speed...or spin dash...it could be anything..." Sonic smiled, "Waw! She really is my daughter...it will be great if she does get my speed...I can race her..." Tails laughed slightly, "Remember Sonic...she is five years old..." Sonic laughed, "Your right." Tails walked out of the room, "I will come by tomorrow. Bye Sonic!" Sonic waved, "Ok Buddy! Thank You!" Sonic walked over to the bedroom door, Blaze was in the kitchen, Sonic seen Amy still sat next to Shori, not letting go of her hand. Amy smiled at Shori, "You can fight it Shori...I know you can...you're a fighter...you can make it through anything...because your me and Sonics daughter..." Sonic smiled slightly and walked into the room. He sat next to Amy, looking over at his daughter, "Tails told me...the fever might be because she is developing some of my powers...like my speed..." Amys eyes widened, 'some of his powers...'Amy remembered the shadow from her dream, 'Shori may not have his speed...but she has his darkside...but it's much more powerful...'Amy let go of Shoris hand, and stood up, Sonic looked at Amy confused. "Amy?" Amy walked out the door. "I'll be right back..." Amy walked into the bathroom, "he is on his way...I can feel it..." Amys head started hurting, Amy gritted her teeth in pain, 'Tick Tock Amy...Time is nearly up...' Amy looked around her in anger, "I won't let you take Shori away!" Amy ran out of the bathroom and into the bedroom, she turned on the light. Sonic looked at her confused, "Amy? What are you doing?" Amy grabbed her suitcase, she opened it, at the bottom of the suitcase, was her fighting outfit, which she held onto if evil came back, she had a feeling there would be more evil coming her and her families way.She brought her red leather pants with black belts around the legs to hold her two guns. She got out her pack of bullets, she brought out her red leather top. Sonic was still confused, "Amy what's going on!?" Amy grabbed on of her guns and filled it with bullets. Amy sat on the bed beside Shori, "I need to protect Shori..." Sonic touched her hand, "why...whats happening...?" Amy looked at Sonic, "someone is coming after Shori..." Sonic looked at her still confused, "Who?" Amy shook her head, "I don't know..." "but he spoke to me in my mind..." Amy looked into Sonics eyes, "Shori hasn't got your speed Sonic..." Sonic looked down at Shori, "then what does she have that's mine too..." Amy closed her eyes and then looked at Sonic with serious eyes, "she has your...DarkSide!" Sonics eyes widened, memories of his wedding day, and the fight with Scourge came to his mind. (Read SonAmy Story 2)Amy took hold of Sonics hand, "we must Protect Shori..."
