time flew by quite fast for the boys and rain.

in a span of one month, their bond grew and they all became closer than before. even ailee was close to them now.

"rain, dearest. are you ready for today?"

the said girl gave her mom a smile and nodded her head. glancing at the wall clock, rain stood up and went near her mom.

"you'll do well today, it's just the first day so dont worry so much."

"thank you, mom."

without a second glance, rain went to the car. they had their driver so her mom didnt have to drop her off to school always.

the girl sighed once the car started moving. she was frustrated and sad, no doubt.

most people would see her as a girl who had nothing to lose. during her previous year in high school she'd do what she wants and people couldnt even see anything wrong with it.

she's always smiling and she always helps people. but when someone makes fun of her friends, she becomes someone different. cold and intimidating, rain kim.

in conclusion, she was adored and feared at the same time. people loved her for being straightforward and they feared her for that too.

"young miss, we're here."

rain snapped out of her trance and gave their driver a grin, "please call me rain."

she quickly got off the car and walked her way to the campus when a hand grabbed her shoulder.

knowing it was ailee who always waited for her outside the school gates she smiled and turned her heel to face the one behind her.

and to her surprise, it wasnt ailee. her eyes widened in surprise and her mind buffered for a few seconds.

when everything became clear she reached out for daehwi and gave him a hug.

"oh my gosh, you're studying here too!?"

the boy patted her back, "why do you think am i here?"

rain was happy—no, beyond happy. when she said she became close with the boys, one of them, in particular, was daehwi.

they became bestfriends and the skinships were only a bonus. well, daehwi was quite clingy and rain unknowingly liked skinships.

a deep voiced guy cleared his throat beside them and with a grin, rain cautiously removed her arms around daehwi while the guy did the same.

"oh, so all of you are studying here! fantastic!"

"ah, i love your enthusiasm, rainy. dont we get a hug too?"

rain rolled her eyes and pulled daehwi's wrist, melting into the group hug.

ailee came just in time to see it happen. with a smile, she pulled out her phone and took a picture of them.

after making sure she had a digital copy, she took a photo using the polaroid camera she always had with her.

the camera's flash and snap made the five boys and one girl move away from the hug.

"aw, rain's going to have huggies from others now."

"ew, stop being sulky!"

the boys laughed at the two and went with them inside the campus.

the sound of their laughter makes everything feel so right.

rain smiled to herself and tugged on the strap of her bag, adjusting it on her shoulder.

she didnt notice woong that started to walk beside her. unlike daehwi, woong always gave rain her own personal space.

skinship wasnt an issue for him but he didnt want the girl to feel uncomfortable so he seldom does it.

"what class are you guys in?"

"im in 4A and ailee's in 4B, you?"

"same class as you with woojin and daehwi. youngmin and donghyun are in 4B."

rain and woong continued to talk about their plans for the school year.

ailee and youngmin on the other hand, the two were walking directly behind the pair.

daehwi walked beside them with woojin and donghyun so it didnt feel like a problem if they were quiet.

secretly, ailee pulled out her phone and prepared it to take a shot of rain and woong who were now talking.

"what are you doing?"

"i like seeing rain smile like that so this is an addition to my collection of photos,"

ailee replied with the same whisper tone youngmin used for asking.

when rain broke out into a loud laugh, the guys behind her and woong had their attentions focused on them.

"so what did you do when that happened?"

"i told midam hyung that it wasnt my fault and passed the fault to seunghun instead."

"you're evil, but i do the same."

the two high-fived and continued to smile and laugh, completely forgetting about the people behind them.

woong also loosened up and he, unconsciously, placed his arm around rain's shoulder.

not that the girl minded it though, but it felt new and different since it wasn't the others. it was jeon woong.

ailee couldn't hide the smile on her face and before she could stop herself, she was hitting youngmin's arm.

"ouch! stop ailee, what the heck."

the girl stuck out a tongue to tease youngmin since she knew he couldn't do anything about it.

"so why do you always smile a lot? you looked cold when i first met you."

"oh, i guess that's just how it is. im neutral on a daily."

woong laughed at her words. neutral? seriously? he found it funny but the girl didnt.

but in the end, she failed to hide her smile.

in the middle of the hallway, in the midst of all the students walking to and fro.

as the rainfall continued to drizzle around the campus grounds, rain realized that her happiness has been given to her in the form of these five dorks.

and the one man that stood out of the five. the man laughing infront of her. jeon woong.

this group is my happiness, but you feel like home.
