the line went silent after that and rain couldnt help but tap her feet on the ground as she waited.

mark knew everything she had to let him know. he knew about her feelings for woong and about her opinions and all those.

it made her anxious. mark was clearly thinking about it and she knew he was hurt too.

they both exchanged goodbyes and rain sighed without being able to think straight.

first, she hurt her bestfriend again. although he didnt say it, obviously, he was hurt.

rain plopped on her bed and sighed before an idea came into her mind. she was nervous, but hey, it wouldnt hurt to try.

nervously, she picked up her phone and dialled the number, hoping it was still the same as before.

when the other line of the phone started ringing rain caught her breath. she tapped her fingers on the table and gulped when someone answered.

"daniel sunbae, i need your help."

rain shut her eyes tightly and took in a big breath before staring back at daniel.

the girl smiled and gave him a short hug, which daniel gladly returned, and raised her fist.

"fighting!"

they smiled at each other before daniel left rain there to wait since woong was coming in a few minutes.

even after two years, the two managed to keep the senior-junior relationship they had since way back.

truth be told, daniel didnt expect rain to call him. the last contact the two had was during rain's birthday a few months ago.

daniel greeted her then and they exchanged greetings and continued not to contact each other afterwards.
