entering the stage from the back, rain waved a bit and smiled.

"hello, everyone. it's my first time to perform today so, i hope you'll enjoy."

rain nervously chuckled and checked the guitar she was holding.

when she was sure everything was set, she started strumming the chords donghyun arranged for her.

she sucked in a deep breath and smiled before singing her line.

everyone that was in the open grounds or anyone who was near stopped what they were doing.

the festival always had someone to sing but it was the first time everyone stopped to listen.

her voice was soft and it sounded so sweet. everyone from the building gathered near the stage where the crowd was at.

donghyun's mouth was hanging open in mere shock and woong, who just arrived, made him close it.

had i known her voice was this nice i would have made her sing more.

daehwi was smiling proudly beside donghyun and he was silently clapping his hands.

when rain opened her eyes to scan the audience, she found donghyun and the four other boys infront of the stage.

she glanced at each one of them, smiling to each. her eyes stopped when she made eye contact with woong.

"i'll be your shining star,"

she winked at woong for a quick second and removed her contact with him.

rain looked around the audience, holding on to her mic. she was now smiling and her confidence was up.

"ooohh, we are shining stars."

as if a delayed action, woong smiled from ear to ear. youngmin who was only watching the two laughed.

he placed his arm over woong's shoulder and went near his ear,

"i saw what you two did there. and im not lying, i liked what i saw."

woong whipped his head to him so fast youngmin thought his neck would snap, but it obviously did not.

the younger boy was flustered with what the elder said but he still smiled.

"yeah, i liked what i saw too."

everyone was cheering and moving along the beat of the song and rain couldnt be more happy with the sight.

the boys felt happy too, the flattering feeling in their stomach felt good to them.

"it must have been so lonely, being in that darkness."

at that moment, the staff played the lyric video donghyun made for the song.

he wanted the audience to know the meaning of the song so he made it for everyone's convenience.

and it flattered rain when the audience started singing along with her, the lyric video used as a guide.
