The New Breed (A HTTYD story)

Chapter 1

(Third person)
It was a normal day on Berk. Things have been different since the defeat of Dagur the Deranged. One day, the two of them went for a flight to clear their heads off the amount of work they both had. They decided to rest on an island for a bit before returning to Berk. Little did they know, that fate had something special for them that day.

(Hiccups POV)
"Welp bud, I think it's about time to head back home don't you think?"
He growled standing up and stretching his wings meaning he was ready to go.
*Bushes rustling*
We both heard the bushes behind us as we both jumped. Toothless sniffed and growled, which usually meant something bad. I pulled out my fire sword and ignited it. The bushes kept rustling.
"Hello? Who's there?"
As I said it the bushes stopped. It was silent for a while. Then came out red glowing eyes. Toothless roared as it walked closer. I decided to let some Zippleback gas out so we can see this mysterious creature. As I ignited the gas it revealed a dragon, only it looked like a...Night Fury?
"Toothless tell me you saw that"
I guess he did because he stopped growling and started walking to the dragon. They both growled at each other like they were talking. I'm guessing it worked because he got the other Night Fury to come closer. I put my sword down to let it know I wasn't gonna hurt it. Soon I saw that it looked like Toothless, only it was red...blood red. It walked close enough to where it could lick my face. I tried to put my hand on its nose. It sniffed it at first and looked towards Toothless. He looked back and let me touch it. It pulled away and and put my sword in its mouth. I took it and put it away, even tho it was covered in saliva.
"Well what do you know bud, your not the only one"
(Toothless POV)
"I can't believe it either"
I said as I was jumping excited.
"Your not the only one excited"
Said the Night Fury.
"I didn't catch you name by the way?"
"I um...I don't got one.."
he said as his ears flattened.
"Oh cheer up, Hiccup will give you one."
"Will he really?"
I nodded at him as I looked at Hiccup.
"Hm we should bring him back with us to Berk, don't you think bud?"
I purred meaning "yes!"
"Berk? Where's that?"
"Oh it's where Hiccups from, and where we live at. All the humans and dragons are peaceful there. And I bet they'd be happy to meet you"
I said as I nudged him with my wing.
"Ok if you say so."
Hiccup got on my back and we started to fly to Berk with the other Night Fury behind us.
"I can't wait to see everyone's reaction when we get back huh bud?"
I growled in response to Hiccup.
