The New Breed (A HTTYD story)

Chapter 3

(Stormflys POV)
I had just met the new Night Fury, his name was Fire storm. Sounds an awful lot like mine, but I didn't mind much. Me and Toothless we're walking into the great hall with Fire storm to show him to the rest of Berk.
"Oh my gods!"
"Another Night Fury!!"
"How is this possible?!"
"It's a miracle!!"
A lot of people were saying about Fire storm. They had right too. I was surprised my self to see another Night Fury alive.
"Everyone settle down, we don't want to scare him."
Hiccup said to everyone and they went quiet. A kid ran up to Fire storm and wanted to pet him. He actually picked the kid up and let him on his back as he continued walking towards Hiccup and them. It was silent because it takes a while for a wild dragon to let anyone on their backs and Fire storm just did it without anyone gaining his trust.
"I told you Stormfly, he's a nice dragon."
Toothless told me as he smiled his gummy smile. I was arguing with him earlier if Fire storm really was friendly.
"Fine you get my fish for the rest of the week."
We may have betted to see who was right, bad idea.
"Alright listen up everybody, this is Fire storm the new Night Fury."
Hiccup said as everyone yelled 'hoorah!' Fire storm stood tall because of everyone cheering about him. At least he's not scared anymore about meeting them. Me and Toothless sat on each side of him as they continued to cheer.
"Ok settle down everyone!"
Hiccup said to everyone and they went silent.
"Now back to the meeting, the reason why were all here."
He said as he sat down in his chair as all of Berk was listening. People started talking about how the crops aren't growing as quickly and etc. Then I noticed that Fire storm was gone? I looked around to see where he went. I saw the doors to the great hall open and close. No one noticed it so I decided to sneak away and see if it was him. As soon as I got out I saw Fire storm flying to the top of a hut and sit down. I flew up towards him and landed on the hut.
"Hey you ok?"
I said as I sat next to him.
"Yeah I'm ok just wanted to get some fresh air that's all."
"Ok making sure you don't fly off heheh"
He chuckled a little and stared out to the ocean.
"This...this is nice."
"Yes it is"
It was silent for a bit. I kinda stared at him a little to really look at his features. I noticed some scars on his underbelly and on his left eye. I wanted to ask but I didn't wanna annoy him.
"Can I ask you something?"
I asked him quietly.
"Hm what is it"
He looked at me as I saw his eyes were pitch black except for the bright red pupils.
"How come you let the kid on your back?"
"Oh that. Well I really don't know. Something just told me to. It was uncomfortable at first but I got used to it."
"Heh it's nice to see a warm hearted dragon for once."
I said as I nudged his wing. He chuckled again.
"Don't see that many do you huh?"
"No we don't"
"Heh well your welcome you finally met one"
He smiled like Toothless does but with his teeth. I couldn't help but smile back. He stared back at the ocean taking a deep breath. There was snow on the roof and I was slowly sliding off so I scooted closer to Fire storm.
"Oh sorry-"
I was saying to him as our noses touched. I get my cheeks burn as I moved my head back.
"S-sorry"
"Heh it's ok accidents happen"
He said as he wrapped his wing around me. I blushed harder I was about as red as his eyes. It felt...safe with his wing around me. I scooted closer to him and layed my head down on his front legs.
"Heh thats cute Stormfly."
"What is?"
"You laying all over me"
He laughed a little and I laughed as well. I put my head under his neck and slowly fell asleep.

(Fire storms POV)
Stormfly just fell asleep on my front legs so I was stuck there...literally. Well it was getting dark anyways so I understood why she did. Then I saw Toothless and Hiccup fly towards me.
"Ooooo Stormfly and Fire storm sitting in a tree."
"Oh shut up Toothless"
We both laughed as they went back to their house. And me still on the hut with Stormfly. I decided to sleep to, so I put my head on hers. Hopefully she didn't mind it, and I fell asleep thinking 'today was good...thankfully'.

That's the end of chapter 3. And just know that when a dragon laughs or chuckles it's in like a roar kind of sound so don't get confused thinking they actually laugh and what not. But hope you guys like it so far. Tomorrow's another day....idk why I said that lol but peace guys and gals.

Fire storm: and please don't ship me and Stormfly were just friends.
