candor — a faction that blames duplicity for the destruction of the world, and so, strives to tell the truth

I'd like to believe I tell the truth
words spilling from my lips like honey
the world become a lot less twisted
because I bore the weight of the heavy truthif I told the truth I'd be Candor
plainly authentic and genuine
not biting back a single word in their mindsbut then I'd be lying
and wouldn't be close to CandorI tell the truth, not all the time
when necessary, when needed
because not everyone needs to know
all the things inside my headif I was truthful, they'd all know
the way I eat myself alive
the way I am perpetually problematic
the way I am not perfectI am not Candor
I am not truthful
I withhold the truth whenever it's beneficial
