you and i
we're too much the same
we're little bits of broken things
pulled together by life's strings
glued with whispers
of love and affection
you and i
we're too much the same
we're abandoned seashells
on the beach
battered and pained
by unrelenting waters
you and i
we're too much the same
we're shards of a person
put back together
yet we know
in the back of our minds
no force can fix our brokenness
so you and i
still stay
broken together
broken forever
for perhaps
our brokenness
will create wholeness
when put together
