Down the Trapdoor

*Btw if anyone thinks this is dramatic for 11 year olds. You would be surprised but as well they get hurt and almost killed a lot so they kinda grow up fast. Remember that. Thanks and Enjoy!*

Draco PoV
It has been a week since the forest and Madam Pomfrey had assured us that Rebecca would recover fine. She was to stay in the hospital wing till today and while she seems alright I'm not leaving her side again.
Rebecca PoV
Well, turns out the forest is a horrible place for detention. It ended with Draco sobbing and me knocked out. Plus, my brother and my friends were shocked and terrified. I guess they thought I was dead since I wouldn't wake up.
      Well I'm back at it now and exams are today. Apparently though if you are in a life threatening situation you don't have to take them. Thank Merlin for that. I'm not ready anyways.
      Today, also, is the first day that I get to attend classes.
     Also, turns out that the Daniel kid and Draco have been hanging out because he felt bad for getting us detention in the first place so he wanted to do something to surprise me. He thought that if he talked to him a bit that we could hangout.
     Daniel and I were only hanging out a bit but now that Draco hangs out with him a bit we can all hangout.
     Draco was telling me that Daniel and him actually have quite a bit in common except one thing and he promised him not to tell me. I guess they like a lot of the same wizarding junk.
     Anyways, as we were walking back from class Harry took off and left Draco, Hermione, Ron and I to chase after him.
     "What are you doing, Harry?" asked Hermione.
     "Don't you think it's weird that the one thing Hagrid wanted was a dragon and a cloaked man in the pub just happened to have one?" Hagrid came towards us and Harry asked, "Hagrid, do you know who gave you Norbert?"
      "No, I never saw his face. He just gave me Norbert, who he seemed real keen to givin up him. See I told em that after Fluffy a dragon would be no problem."
     Draco I guess realized what Harry was onto and asked, "Did he seem interested in Fluffy?"
     "Well o course he was. It isn't often that you come across a three headed dog. Even in the trade," he paused and continued, "See I told him, the trick to every beast is to know how ta calm em. Take Fluffy for example, ya play em a spot o music and he calms right down."
     The five of us looked to each other and ran off while Hagrid was trying to keep us from spilling.
     The trio told McGonagall about the stone being stolen. They filled me in afterwards. They, other than Draco, believe that Snape is stealing the stone to deliver to Voldemort. Draco thinks that someone is stealing the stone but not Snape. Honestly I'm with him. McGonagall didn't believe that it was in danger so we took it in our own hands. Also for not believing them Harry and Ron decided Draco didn't need to help.
      We decided to go at 12:00, so Draco and I went upstairs for me to wait.
     When it got close to time, Draco looked to me and whispered, "Please don't go."
     "Why wouldn't I? I need to help save you and everyone else."
     "What is the point, if you save everyone and not yourself," he replied, "but, I know I can't talk you out of it so I'm coming with you."
     "I don't want you in danger either," I replied, "Plus Harry forbade it."
     He laughed and said, "First, since when do I listen to Harry and second, last time I left you alone Voldemort almost choked you to death. I know you will be with them but I would feel more comfortable if you were there with me as well."
     "Fine," I poured.
     We walked downstairs and Harry and Ron whisper yelled, "Why is he here?"
     "Hey," Draco snapped, "I'm here to keep Rebecca safe and to save the world not to hear your whining."
     I laughed, "Come on, we better get on with the world saving."
     Hermione turned to me and whisper giggled in my ear and said, "He likes you."
     I flushed red. Luckily the boys were on there merry way and silently arguing so they didn't hear her or see my face.
     We opened the door and saw Fluffy fast asleep to the music of a harp. Hermione pushed its paw off the trapdoor to the side but I heard the harp stop playing and Fluffy begin to wake up.
     Before I could do anything Draco sang softly, "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens."
     I realized he what he was singing and joined, "Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens."
     Together we sang as we went down the trapdoor, "Brown paper packages tied up with string."
     When we got to the bottom we finished, "These are a few of my favorite things."
     We looked at the other for a second noticing we were only inches apart until we shot really fast to a plant under us.
     "Bloody hell, lucky this plant was there to cushion our fall," I heard Ron say, until the tendrils of the plant began to wrap around him.
     Draco yelled, "Yes, being suffocated to death is extremely lucky!"
     Hermione and I say,"This is devil snare. You have to stay calm or it will kill you faster."
     I concentrated on Harry, Draco, and all my friends and I sank through the devils snare along with Hermione.
     All at once I heard the boys yell, "Hermione, Rebecca."
     "We are down here," I started, "You've got to relax, please"
     The boys kept freaking out so I whispered to Draco just loud enough so he could hear me, "Draco, you have to calm down and listen. Calm down and it will let you through. Tell Harry and Ron."
Within seconds beside me was Draco and Harry was on the ground by Hermione. I looked and jumped at Draco and hugged him.
We quickly pulled apart. Wow we have to stop doing that.
I realized Ron wasn't down with the other two. "Where's Ron?" Hermione asked.
"He's up there," I replied, "Can you stop their plant. It's gonna kill him."
"Um," She started, "Oh, devil snare devil snare it's deadly fun but..."
"With the sulk in the sun!" I shouted, "Light a fire."
"We haven't got wood," Hermione answered.
"Have you gone mad?" Ron bellowed, "Are you a witch or not?"
"Oh of course," yelled Hermione, "Lumos Salem!"
Ron sank down and stood up, "Lucky we stayed calm."
Harry replied, "Lucky that Hermione and Rebecca pay attention in Herbology," and we continued our journey.
