Flying Lessons

It had been awhile since Hermione and I had hungout so I asked her to walk with Draco, Nicole and I. I could tell Draco was slightly uncomfortable as was Hermione but between Nicole and I we kept them from either running away or fighting.
Madam Hooch, the flying instructor, had us get next to a broom and firmly sat up. The broom came immediately into my hand. I saw that my brothers and Draco's broom came up as well. I smiled at them both but they ruined the moment when they glared at each other.
When we were about to lift off, Neville Longbottom's broom went without him and Madam Hooch ran after him. He got hurt so she told us to stay on the ground and wait or we would be out of here. My first and stupidest friend saw Neville's remembral he had got at breakfast alongside the others owls and Ginny's letter I had gotten earlier. He picked it up and pocketed it when my brother oh yes my brother had to yell, "Give it here, Malfoy."
I took myself to probably my only sane friend, Hermione of course, and watched my brother and my best friend fight.
"Well, Potter, why don't I leave it on the roof?"
Hermione tried to stop my brother from going but well he's dumb.
Hermione sighed, "What an idiot?"
"They're both idiots," I said.
I watched until Draco yelled, "Ginger catch," and threw it at me. Hermione looked at me and I said, "I don't want it to break."
She smirked and said, "Yeah, Of course that's why."
I took my broom and flew towards the remembral and then chucked it at my brother who flew to the window and caught it.
All of the class, watched as Harry and I got the remembral back and cheered. After landing, I turned to Draco and said, "Was that necessary?"
Draco answered, "Probably not look but it was kinda fun."
I rolled my eyes and turned around to Mrs McGonagal yelling, "Harry and Rebecca Potter."
She led me and Harry to the defense against the dark arts room. "Professor Quirrel can I see Oliver Wood and Marcus Flint?" said McGonagall.
The two boys, one I knew, one I didn't, walked out and McGonagall said , Wood I've found you a seeker and Flint I found you that chaser you needed."
I was confused but at least we weren't in trouble.
After I got back from McGonagal, I headed to the great hall for dinner. Draco walked in with Crabbe and Goyle at the same time so we went on our way to the Slytherin table.
We were stopped by Ron who was still angry about the remembral ordeal. Draco was messing with them per usual even though it wasn't that big of a deal so Ron said to Draco, "You aren't that tough Malfoy, without your goons."
I looked at him and said, "Thanks Ronald, girls love to be called goons, you should try that on your first date."
He immediately apologized to me but continued, "Malfoy, you are just a coward. You can't fight without two others."
Harry has jumped in at this point and Draco, again the idiot,(why am I friends with him again?) decides it be best to suggest a wizards duel. Harry accepted and Ron decided to be his second and asked, "Malfoy, who's your second?"
Draco looks at me and says, "Ginger."
Harry then asks, "Who is Ginger? Is she another one of your vile Slytherin friends?"
I was mad now. I looked at my brother and then Draco and said, "I accept," I then looked at Harry and Ron and yelled, "And for your information, I'm Ginger."
Harry can't just assume all us Slytherins are evil and vile. As I walked away I heard Hermione say, "That was quite rude of you both to assume like that." Thank you Hermione.
It was 12:00 am and Draco and I were walking up the corridor for the duel when we ran into Harry and Ron who I guess had brought Hermione along for the fun.
"Are you read...?" asked Ron but was interrupted by a cat meowing. I looked over and whispered, "Mrs. Norris." The five us ran until we found our way to a large door.
"What are we going to do?" panicked Ron.
Draco answered, "Calm down we can't concentrate with all your panicking!"
Hermione then replied, "For once I agree with Draco."
Harry pulled on the handle but the door was locked.
"I don't know what we are going to do, it's locked," said Harry.
"Don't you three ever read?" said Hermione.
Ron then pointed out, "There are four of us other than you."
Hermione answered, "I know Rebecca reads." I smirked and then took my wand out and said, "Alohomora."
The door unlocked and Hermione looked at the boys and said, "See."
We quickly ran inside and shut the door. "Whoo," said Ron, "Glad that's over."
I turned around along with Draco and we said, "Far from it."
A large three headed dog stood before us. Draco pushed me back behind him and the others quickly opened the door. We all ran out, Draco and I split up with the others and headed to the Slytherin common room.
When we got there, Draco and I sat in the common room and began to discuss what the bloody hell that was.
"What was that thing?" I asked.
"I'm not sure but I'm glad that it didn't fit me into one of its heads."
I laughed. We talked for a while and at some point I fell asleep.
I was sleeping pretty soundly when the nightmare of my parents started again except this time I saw Harry and I in the forest and Voldemort yelled, "Avada Kedavra" and was dead on the ground.
I woke up with a jolt and was screaming no, no, no not him too. I was shaking and tears were pouring down my face. Draco was awake reading but as soon as I woke up he ran over to me.
"What's wrong, what happened," he asked me.
I explained everything to him and he hugged me. I whispered, "Thank you," into his chest and fell asleep knowing I was safe.
