We are getting on the Hogwarts express today and I have to hope that Draco might remember something this summer.
We talked yesterday after Harry convinced me to start over.
I took my luggage downstairs and was prepared for the sad truth that my aunt and uncle are going to kill me and my best friend is missing but at least I'm on his track.
Harry hates this time of the school year more than I do. He just wants to stay here forever and so do I but not like that.
About an hour later we left for Kings Cross. While I was completely angry at my friends, I felt horrible since Draco was a bit scared of them because they got really close when they didn't know the news.
It's upsetting to me to see him when he has no idea about anything but words.
Ginny was taking the hatred harder than I was. She was young and innocent.
Luckily my dashing younger brother saw how she felt and they have been playing exploding snap all the way home.
Ron and Hermione have been at a battle of constant bickering and I could tell it was freaking out Draco so I asked him if he wanted to get some candy off the trolley.
"Um, Rebecca," asked Draco, "Are they always like that?"
I laughed softly, "Yeah. This isn't the worst though."
His eyes widened, "They get worse?"
I smiled, "Don't worry. Hopefully you will get used to it."
He looked towards my neck and said, "What's that?" as he pointed at the locket.
I realized that it may just be worse on us both if I showed him so I replied almost shedding a tear, "It isn't anything special. A really good friend of mine have it to me but he isn't here anymore."
He looked at me and said, "Are you sure it isn't special?"
"I mean," I replied, "It isn't something to worry about."
I stuffed the locket down my shirt.
The train halted to a stop and I head the conductor tell us we were at Kings Cross.
I went back to the compartment, grabbed my stuff, and said goodbye to everyone but Draco who I thought I couldn't.
I grabbed Harry and we went off to my aunt and uncle before I quickly looked back at a terrified Draco. His dad was yelling at him and I doubted he knew even what he was talking about.
Harry whispered to me, "You can still say goodbye to him."
I quickly nodded and ran over. I hid behind a pile of luggage and waved him over.
He said something to Lucius and walked over.
Draco looked at me and said, "Rebecca, what did you need?"
I smiled and said, "Goodbye, Blondie," And left.
But before I left, I heard Draco whisper, "Goodbye, Ginger."
I almost looked back but thought different in case it was only my imagination.
I walked back to my aunt and uncle's car and got ready to go back to my home in hell.
