Rebecca PoV
I couldn't believe I was about to meet my date's mother. Correction, the guy I love I mean like's mother.
Around the corner of the hedges of the garden, I heard, "Well, I'm going to come over now."
Narcissa Malfoy, stepped out from behind the hedge.
Mrs Malfoy was one of the most stunning women I had ever seen. Her platinum blonde hair that I knew all too well cascaded down her back with an accented color of black streak that went through the front of her hair.
Her dark dress and bright lips accented her pale skin a way that only she could.
"Draco," she said smiling, "Introduce me to the stunning Ginger you are always talking about."
"Well, mum," he replied, "This is Rebecca Potter."
She looked to me and grinned, "You are absolutely stunning. Come here."
I walked over and she continued, "You have the prettiest eyes I've ever seen. And your hair is absolutely beautiful."
"Thank you Mrs. Malfoy. You are beautiful as well. I got my eyes and hair from my mum. Everyone says I look exactly alike her."
Mrs Malfoy replied, "None of this Mrs Malfoy. If you insist on calling me Mrs something just call me Miss Narcissa."
She paused, "You really look exactly like your mother. She was a very sweet girl."
"I always hoped she was like everyone said. Um are you sure your alright with me being here?"
She looked at me and asked, "Why would I not want you here, dear?"
I looked down and replied, "I'm a halfblood."
Draco shot his head up, "Rebecca, there isn't anything wrong with you or your mother."
"Sweetheart, it doesn't matter. Your mother was a good person and it seems as are you."
"I'm sorry. I guess I assumed since Mr. Malfoy doesn't seem to want me around his son that I thought you wouldn't either."
She sat down on one of the benches, "If I can be honest for a second. I hate Lucius Malfoy. We were betrothed as children. I was actually in love with a young boy named Richard Abott but he was a "blood traitor." My sister, Andromeda, had just been disowned for marrying a muggle and I was scared of having the same fate so I did as I was told and married Lucius. Sometimes I wish I hadn't but otherwise I wouldn't have had Draco. I was always scared that my son would turn out like him but then you came around and look how he is now. I make sure it seems like I'm all for it because I'm worried about what he would do for Draco."
I stared at Narcissa, "I'm very sorry you had to go through that."
She smiled, "Thank you. Now, would you both like to come in for dinner?"
"Of course, mum," replied Draco.
We went inside and the manor was very dark and rustic.
We sat down at the table and Narcissa called in one of the house elves and he set the food out on the table.
I grabbed my plate and dipped some food and sat down.
"So, Rebecca, you're in Slytherin as well," said Narcissa.
"Yes," I replied, "I quite like it there."
"I loved my time in Slytherin. My best friends were Azalea Buchanan and Isadora Dawlish. Azalea got married since then and Isadora is dead."
I replied, "I'm sorry about Isadora. Who did Azalea get married to?"
Draco laughed, "I think you know her daughter quite well."
Narcissa answered, "She married a man named Samuel Parkinson. I think they have a daughter named what was it Pearl or maybe Petunia?"
I gasped, "You don't mean—no you mean Pansy Parkinson."
Narcissa replied, "Yes, that's her name do you know her?"
I slowly nodded, "All too well. She is an absolute nightmare. She is constantly attacking my Muggle-Born friend. And she attacks my mum all of the time."
"I'm sorry dear. Her mother was very kind. Now that I think about it, Lucius has been attempting to form a betrothal between Draco and the Pansy girl but I've been refusing since I knew he would be stuck in a relationship he might not even want. Anyways, how do you like Hogwarts?"
I smiled, "I love it. I don't have a good home so it's my home."
"That's wonderf—" she said but was interrupted.
I heard a harsh voice yell, "Narcissa, where are you?"
Narcissa whispered, "You have to hide. Lucius is back and if he finds you here I'm not sure what he'll do."
Draco took my hand and led me to hiding spot and we tried to stay as quiet as we could.
I overheard Narcissa greet, "Oh, darling, you're back early."
"Yes," he replied, "I know you have been trying to keep me from arranging a marriage for Draco but I believe it will be best. I think he may have feelings for a filthy halfblood and I want to make sure he stays away from those foul beings so I finally arranged a marriage with the Parkinsons. When he turns seventeen, he will be married to Pansy Parkinson."
