While You Were Sleeping

     I woke up to the hospital wing. My eyes fluttered open and I sat up a bit. I started to look around and my eyes found my way to my blonde best friend. He looked tired and like he was crying. Harry, Ron, and Hermione weren't there though. The last thing I remembered was being in the bathroom with Hermione and then a troll attacked us and Ron, Harry, and Draco came to help.
     My voice was small but I called, "Draco."
     He looked up and saw me and ran over. He looked like he had been crying.
     He softly spoke, "We all thought you were dead."
     "How long was I out?"
     "About two months. Granger took the blame for the troll situation. Your brother has been hoping you would wake up."
     "Did I miss Christmas?"
     He laughed, "No, it isn't for two weeks. You did miss Harry's and your supposed to be quidditch game. Gryffindor won," he rolled his eyes.
"Anything else I missed Blondie?"
"Blondie?" He questioned then continued, "Well there is something but I need Harry, Weasley, and Granger to tell you. Granger told me since I wanted to help you and saw the three headed dog."
"I'm not going to try to figure that out," I laughed.
He waited a minute and lunged onto me hugging me tight. He realized what he had done and quickly released me and started blushing.
He then defended, "I'm sorry, I've missed you a lot. I've been stuck with Parkinson for two months."
"Eww, Pugface," I replied.
He laughed, "Yeah, I kept getting the words, "Dracy Poo, you should come with me to Potions, I'll be a better partner." or "Oh, Dracy Poo, could you skip charms with me?"
"I'm so sorry for you. That sounds like hell."
"Oh thank Merlin your awake. Otherwise I would be walking with Parkinson to class since you wouldn't be able to fend her off."
Draco left but a couple hours later he came back with Harry, Ron and Hermione.
Harry looked to me and ran. He hugged me immediately and said, "I hoped you weren't gone. Who else would suffer the Dursley's with me."
Hermione then got serious quickly and said, "Harry, we need to tell her. I think she can help us."
"What is it?" I asked interested.
Draco looked to me and whispered, "You know the three headed dog on the..."
"Shut up Malfoy, we'll tell her. You can go," said Ron.
They argued for a second but I quickly said, "Stop, Draco was there too and he's my best friend so leave him alone. Also, I just want to know so get on with it."
     "Well as I was saying," said Draco glaring at Harry, Ron, and Hermione, "The dog was guarding a trapdoor. Hagrid let slip to them that the whole set up is between Dumbledore and some person named Nicholas Flamel."
     Harry then said, "You forgot to mention that Snape tried to jinx my broomstick and that we think that he is trying to steal whatever that dog is hiding."
     "Oh yeah, I guess I forgot it since it doesn't make any sense," replied Draco.
     I then asked, "How did you prove that he was the one to I guess jinx your broom."
     Hermione answered, "You have to have eye contact when performing a jinx and Snape wasn't blinking."
     "You also have to have eye contact for defensive spells. Maybe he was trying to stop the jinx instead."
     "I doubt it," replied Ron, "He's sketchy, hate Harry, and is always watching us it seems."
     "I like him," Draco and I replied at the same time. We looked at each other and high fived.
     Ron then added, "Also, could you two stop acting like a weirdly in sync couple?"
     "We weren't um..." I blushed. I could see that Draco was blushing too. It didn't help when Harry bursted our, "Stop encouraging that, Ron. I don't want that," he said pointing at Draco, "as a relative."
     "Can we all stop discussing my love life?" I asked.
     "See, Ron, she is already dating him. This isn't good at all."
     "We aren't...," I blushed.
      "That um uh..." replied Draco who was looking at his feet.
     About then Madam Pomfrey ran in and had them leave. Merlin, I missed quite a bit.
