New Friends - Chapter 13

Leslie has been staying with Negan for the past week. She has met some new people, Hiro Hamada for one, he has one blue eye and a purple eye. He doesn't hang out with Leslie that much, probably because she is new, but everyone says he will get used to her. Every time she looks at Hiro's one blue eye, she thinks of Carl, he only has one blue eye now...all because his other one got shot out. She is glad he is still alive, cause if he wasn't, she doesn't know where she would be right now, probably dead. The other person she met is named Lia. She has a doll named Kaori. Kaori has one eye, which is also blue...it reminds her of Carl. She just can't stop thinking about him, she wants to know if he is alive or not. 

Leslie is sitting by the window staring out. A tear rolls down her face and she wipes it away. Lia notices and walks over to Leslie and sits next to her. Leslie looks at Lia and goes back to staring out the window. Lia says "Leslie...mind if I asked you some things?" Leslie shrugs and Lia takes it as a yes. Lia says "Why are you always looking at Hiro's one blue eye and Kaori's remaining eye?" Leslie looks down. Lia says "You can talk to me, I won't say anything to anyone. I promise." Leslie says "My best friend has blue eyes, and he has one eye left cause the other was shot out." Lia says "Oh...D-did he die...?" Leslie nods her head no and says "He is alive, we were walking back to our shelter, and herds of walkers came to us, so he told me to run into the woods while he distracted them." Lia says "I hope he didn't die..." Leslie says "I know he is alive, I just know it. I know he is looking for me, we have been separated before from our group, but it was always me and him together, this is the first time me and him were actually separated, like we can't find each other." Lia says "Are you attached to him?" Leslie says "Yeah, we have been best friends for years. Before I ran into the woods...he kissed me, and then he ran off to distract the herds...I ran into the woods and that's when Negan found me." Lia says "So it had just happened when Negan found you?" Leslie nods her head. 

FLASHBACK

Time for a little flashback. So, Negan took Leslie in and took her to the community, as they got in the car, they started driving. Leslie was looking out the window the whole time, she saw a herd of walkers, they were in the exact area that her and Carl got separated. They were eating something, blood was everywhere and guts, and she swore she saw something brown that resembled the hat Carl wears. They drove by quickly, but Leslie kept staring back at the scene. She wanted to know if that was him or not, She had enough evidence to think that it was him so she cried the whole ride. 

END 

Lia looked at Leslie. Leslie was telling the whole flashback and she says "I thought it was him, but now I can feel it in my bones that he is alive and looking for me." Lia says "Keep up with the optimism! The hope, and the faith!" Leslie smiles at Lia and says "Yeah, I will." Lia says "Yes! I made you happy! I have achieved my goal! I have succeeded!" 

An announcement is then said on the speaker to let everyone know of what is happening, the announcement says "Everyone who is in charge of the visitor position, go to your posts, we have an emergency. We need you guys to get to your positions. Emergency at the front gate, Simon is bringing in the visitors at this very moment." The announcement ends and Lia says "Come on Les, let's go and see." Leslie says "We aren't part of the visitors position." Lia says "Gurl, I sneak in all the time, they don't care if you go as long as you don't get in their way." Hiro is already going, he doesn't wait. 

Simon, who is Negan's right hand assistant. He and a whole bunch of people place down the people. Leslie recognizes them, Rick, Maggie, Glenn, Daryl, Sasha, the others she doesn't recognize, they must be new people. Simon says "We have a problem with the kid. He is a fighter, he keeps struggling." Negan says "Just bring him in, knock him out or something." Leslie whispers "The kid?" Simon comes back with Carl, Carl is struggling around, squirming. He says "Let me go you prick! You fucking wimp! Let me go right now or you will regret it!" Simon rolls his eyes and says "Yeah, yeah." Lia says "Leslie. Is that him?" Leslie is too focused on what she should do, she doesn't want Negan to hurt her if she gets in the way, she decides to look closely at what is happening. Negan walks back and forth deciding who he should hurt. He starts saying "Well, well, well, we got a whole group of people today. What are you guys doing here? Did my group of people find you? Did you steal from us?" Everyone is tied up so they can't hit him. He crouches in front of Rick and Rick says "I am going to kill you." He looks around at everyone else who is on Negan's side and says "All of you." Negan smiles and says "Well, if yo do, maybe you will need to have a meeting with Lucille." Carl looks at everyone and he spots Lia. Lia looks at Carl and mouths the words "Stay quiet. Leslie is here. You don't want Negan to hurt her. She talks about you a lot." Carl smiles. Lia smiles back and mouths "I will get her so you can see her." Lia runs to the other side of the area and grabs Leslie's hand and goes back to where she was. Carl sees Leslie and sighs a sigh of relief, Leslie covers her mouth, Lia whispers to Leslie "He will be fine as long as Negan doesn't hurt him. If he does, you can step out and stop him." Leslie nods her head. Negan says "I am going to have to kill one of you now."

Just kidding, I am not leaving you guys on a cliffhanger. 

Negan does the eenie meanie miney moe thing. He decides on a victim and he chooses Abraham. He bashes Abraham's head in with the bat, he calls Lucille, she is covered in barbed wire, so she can make you bleed easily. He finishes bashing his head in. Everyone stares in shock. Daryl jumps out and head butts Negan. Some of Negan's people apprehend Daryl and put him back in his spot. Negan wipes his face as if some blood is there. He says "Damn, probably left a mark." He then goes for Glenn and hits his head with the bat. Everyone stares in shock again. Leslie covers her mouth and some tears fall down from her cheeks. Glenn was so nice to her, he always played with her, he taught her the tactics on how to survive. Leslie says "No...no, no, no..." Lia covers her mouth as well, she has never seen Negan kill 2 people over a stupid thing. Maggie is crying, staring down at the ground. Rick yells out "YOU JUST KILLED HIM!!!!" Negan says "Damn. I did not want to have to kill the asian dude." Rick says "I am going to murder you, Negan! You and your whole crew! You fucking bastard." Negan says "Try it. Try to kill me and I'll kill the boy. Don't try anything either, Carl. Or I'll kill one of my innocent teenage girls, and I know you wouldn't want that." He crouches in front of Carl. "Or would you like that?" Negan says with a smile on his face. Carl just stares at him. Rick and Daryl both get up and run to Negan headbutting him. Negan falls down, and negan's men have to once again, apprehend. Negan says "Now I want you to see what I do to punish people. I told you not to try anything." Negan points his bat at Carl. He then gets the bat ready to swing at Carl. Leslie runs to Negan and grabs the bat, with her knife in her other hand and she says coldly "Don't you fucking dare." Carl stares at what Leslie just did, never in her life would she stand up to a man as tall as Negan, she has never stood up to anyone like that. When it comes to Carl, she isn't afraid to do so. Leslie with her knife so close to Negan's head says "Hurt him and I will add so much force into this knife, it will go straight through your skull, and then I will take the bat and bash YOUR Head in. I know you wouldn't want that." She smirks "Or would you like that?" She then lets go and walks over to Carl and unties him. Carl gets up and kisses Leslie quickly. Leslie kisses him back and everyone is still shocked that such a person would stand up to Negan. Threatening him.
