Apocalyptic Love

Destroyed- Chapter 36

It was about a month after the whole Negan thing started. He attempted to steal from the teens, such a bastard. Luckily, he never tried it out again. Leslie was helping to make sure none of the supplies were rotting, none of the food has gone expired. Medications were still good. They still had all of their ammunition. Carl would always be reloading his gun, he never wanted to lose ammo in the middle of a battle or something like that. Sophia, Tuba, Marie, and Beth were out on a supply run, they wanted to get any more supplies that they can find so they won't have to scavenge for a while longer. Blake, Kelvin, and Hiro were looking around the area for nearby houses that were safe enough for a group of teens. Drew and Queen were cleaning knives, sharpening them, and making sure all the guns were fully loaded. Lia, Eliza, and Alyssa had to train the animals, they used dummies that they had personally crafted for the animals to attack. Shiva would rip out the stuffing from them pretending to maul off a walker or a human's face. Sky would go for the legs and the ankles. He would also pounce up and bite off a limb. Mochi stuck with scratching out your eyeballs. When they would do a good job, they would get a treat. Shiva would get raw meat, Sky would get a chicken treat from Canine Carry outs, and Mochi would get some milk. 

Later, the guys had came back and knew a couple of houses that would be good for shelter. But one of them was just big enough for a whole group of teens. Leslie and Carl were working at the hospital. Carl got a call on his walkie talkie and left the hospital room to answer it. Drew is talking on the walkie talkie and says "Carl, everyone has been trying to contact you, we have found a house that has enough shelter and enough space for all of us, if the place was ever destroyed." Carl says "Well, that's good." 

The teens were at their positions when a bunch of people came up to the gate with guns, they didn't even decide to drop them. Then they started pointing the guns at the teens and they all had to duck taking cover. Hiro, Blake, and Kelvin all got their guns ready and started shooting them down. Carl climbed up there and joined them, shooting with his signature sniper. Some of the bad people were already in the community and shooting people, slicing their stomachs open causing pools of blood to go everywhere. Mostly women were dying, damn. Some of them were really crazy and were taking the blood from the floor and putting it on their heads forming a W for Whisperers. These people were the Whisperers and they were pretty crazy. Some people were lucky enough to live long to reach the hospital. 

The teens were all getting their weapons ready. Beth grabbed Judith. Leslie grabbed the backpack and left running. Everyone watches as Leslie was running off. Where was she going. Leslie ran into the hospital and the whisperers were already beating the doctors, Leslie ran into the little boy's room. His name is Asher, he was asleep while the whole thing was happening. Leslie picked him up and ran out of the room. The hospital started burning, so Leslie had to run very fast. Carl was searching the whole place for her. "LESLIE!!!" Leslie exited out of the hospital. Asher was now coughing in her arms. Leslie ran to Carl and handed Asher to him. She quickly said "Carry him! I'll be back!" Leslie ran off and Carl shook his head and ran back to the teens. Carl muttered to himself "She better come back, because if she doesn't I am killing every single one of these guys." Asher was looking up at Carl and looking around at the community, or what is becoming left of it. Leslie had ran to Negan's old house and started packing all of her important things, pictures, drawings that Judith would make for her, all of that important stuff. She packed Carl's hoodie for the winter when it came and she packed the blankets. Then she left running and she saw a stabbed Esmeralda laying on the ground covering her stomach. Leslie ran over to her and covered her mouth. Pearl was wrapped in a blanket crying on the floor. Esmeralda says "Take her...Don't let anything happen to my baby girl...I trust you to keep her safe..." Then she had stopped moving. Leslie picked up Pearl immediately and left running. Carl was waiting with the other teens at the front gate. Leslie had arrived and they all left the community without asking any questions about why Leslie had a baby. 

When they had all arrived at the house then they started to ask questions. Beth asks "Why do you have a baby? Isnt that pearl...?" Leslie nods her head. Beth asks "They didn't kill Esmeralda right...?" Leslie nods her head. She says "They killed her, she said she trusted me with keeping her safe." Marie says "Now we have to care for 3 kids. Plus each other." Leslie says "Yeah, but it will be fine, we just teach them how to use knives when they are old enough." Carl nods his head and says "Yeah! Just like how Glenn taught us!" All the kids set their backpacks down and relaxed for the rest of the day. What a day, there is never a day that goes by that these kids don't have to deal with some bad things. Walkers, people, death, you name it.
