Death- Chapter 11

Rick is quietly discussing the plans to everyone in the group except Leslie. Even Sasha, Tyreese, and Mark know the plan. They discuss in another cell block for almost an hour, Leslie just stays in Cell Block C, playing with Judith. It's been some weeks, no changes in anyone's appearance except for Judith because babies are always growing. Judith is getting bigger and heavier, she is now about 3 months or maybe even 4 months. Judith adores playing around, she even crawls a little bit on the floor, like normal babies do. Everyone leaves the other Cell Block and either go to their cells or outside. Carl stays with Leslie and says "Sorry they aren't letting you in on the plans, but it's because your good with Judith and if anything bad happens, you can protect her, but I doubt anything bad will be happening." Leslie then says confused "Is that all you guys were talking about? That I am good with Judith? For like an hour?" Carl says "Nah, we were talking about you, and how if anything bad happens like people try to attack, we know where our positions are." Leslie understands and nods her head. Carl says "Your not the only one they didn't discuss the plan with, Beth too." Leslie says "For real?" Carl says "Yeah, I didn't see her in the Cell Block with us. She was probably in her cell. But they said you and her have to protect Judith if anything happens." Leslie says "It's like me and her are the baby protectors." Carl smiles and shrugs "If you think of it like that." Beth went on a little patrol with Hershel, but little does everyone know, Hershel got kidnapped by a guy named the Governor. (He came to get your taxes. 🤣) Beth informed everyone, and Maggie, Glenn, and Rick all went to search for him but couldn't find him anywhere. They knew he wasn't dead though. 

A couple days later and Hershel is still not found. But that meeting they had did come in handy because The Governor showed up at the prison with a crew of people. Not just a few, about 100. Carl and Leslie ran inside the prison warning everyone. All the adults went outside and they were amazed at how many people were there. Sophia ran out and was shocked, Carol rushed her back inside. Leslie stayed inside with Judith and Beth. Beth says "We have to hide. We don't want to get hurt and Judith to start crying." Leslie says "We go to my Cell, I have a secret way there that can lead us out of the prison in case of an emergency, me and Carl built it." Beth says "Good idea." They both rush to the cell. Carl thinks to himself I hope Leslie is okay, I can't lose her. You can hear a megaphone, probably the Governor speaking and attracting walkers to them. He is just going to make the situation worse and probably get him and his crew killed. Then you can hear a huge slice and Maggie yelling and then a whole bunch of gunshots, you can hear people yelling, and soon some walkers. Beth and Leslie who is carrying Judith leave through the secret area. When they exit though the area, there are no walkers thank god. But she sees T-dog with a bunch of walkers around him, he is probably going to get bit, and he does, right on his shoulder. Leslie covers her mouth so she won't attract attention, Beth does too and they run off, they notice the battlefield too. So much smoke, probably from guns and maybe a grenade. There is so much blood on the field, and walkers coming through the metal gate. There are just so many. Beth says "I hope everyone survives." Leslie looks around the battlefield and says "Where is Carl?!" Leslie keeps looking seriously worried. Beth says "I'm sure he is fine" Leslie says "I don't see him! He isn't there!" Carl is looking around for Leslie yelling out her name over and over again. Carl enters the prison, luckily not many walkers are there and no people too. Carl looks around A, B, and C cell blocks. He doesn't find them. Carl then gets an idea and runs to his cell and goes through the secret way, he says "She had to have gone this way." He gets to the end, and Leslie is still scouting the field, looking all around, she can't lose Carl she just can't. Then while she is looking, she sees Rick, Glenn and Maggie, going in another direction, probably going to look for them. Maggie is shouting out something, but you can't really make out what she is saying. Beth says "We should go before bad people spot us." Carl then finds them and hugs Leslie tight. Leslie hugs him back too. Carl says "Thank god! I finally found you!" Leslie says "I couldn't stop looking for you! I thought you got lost or worse, dead!" Carl says "I can get lost, but I won't die. Not when I have you to protect." Beth says "Come on guys, we gotta hurry and go." Beth starts walking, then Carl notices the Governor, about to shoot his gun at Leslie, when he shoots the governor, right in his head before he can pull the trigger, like a savage.
