Supplies- Chapter 35

Carl was in the bathroom fixing his hair which kept getting in his face. Just for fun, he would run his fingers through his hair and get Leslie to blush. He would continuously do it and Leslie would keep blushing. One time, when they were in their shared bedroom, Carl ran his fingers through his hair and Leslie looked at him and blushed pretty red. One time she even called him smexy, not sexy, but smexy. Just a word she made up.

Leslie was with Judith, Lia, and Beth. Drawing as usual and admiring Judith's drawing skills, they were improving, soon she was going to start drawing stick figures. Carl decided to walk around the community since that's another job that the teens have been assigned to do. Walk around the community making sure no bad people come through, no suspicious behavior. Leslie has been updated on the conditions of the little boy, he was doing better, thank god they let him have a second chance at life. Esmeralda gave birth to her baby and it was a baby girl. She named her Pearl.

Carl was walking down the path of the community and he saw Enid with a guy. The guy didn't have no beard, just a little bit of beard hair and he looked mean. Kinda like the rapist that was supposed to rape Leslie but didn't get very far in doing so. He was holding some green balloons or some green whoopee cushions. Pretty sure they were green balloons though, it really looked like that. Enid said "Give it back. I need them. Let me keep them...please." The guy said "You need them?" Enid says in a sadder tone "Yes. Please." She was practically begging for them, it seems like she really wanted them. Pretty understandable because you can't find balloons anywhere now. The guy says "Say please one more time." Enid stomped her foot a little and kept her begging tone and says "Please." The guy caresses her cheek, softly touching it making Enid flinch and move her head to the side. He says "One more time, little girl." Enid, who was getting furious says in a more menacing tone "Please." The guy then dropped the balloons on the floor slowly then pointed his finger at Enid and says "Be careful, little girl." He then patted her head and walked away. Carl walked over to Enid and says "You okay?" Enid picked up all her balloons and put them in her pocket. She looked at Carl and says "Yeah...I'm fine..." Carl makes a disgusted face and says "That dude was a creep." Enid nods her head and says "Yeah, he just stole the balloons from me and wanted to touch me a little bit. I'm just glad I got it back." Carl says "I should continue my position now. See you later I guess." Enid waves to Carl and continued on her way. Carl kept walking.

When Carl finished his position, he decided to go where the girls were. Now they were sitting on the porch in the chairs and Judith was laying back on Leslie about to fall asleep any minute. Leslie sees Carl and waves. Beth and Lia waved too. Carl sits on the steps of the porch and pets Sky's head. Sky was laying his head down on his paws. Mochi was busy licking his paws, attempting to clean himself. Shiva was off with Eliza, probably training for future walker attacks. Sky sat up with his tongue out. He got used to Carl now and was in the mood for playing. Sky ran to go get his ball, came back with it in his mouth and nudged it towards Carl. The ball reached Carl's leg and Carl picked it up and threw it. Sky watched where the ball was going and ran for it. Coming back a minute later with the ball back in his mouth. He placed it down in front of Carl and sat down, patiently waiting for Carl to throw it again. Carl laughed a little and says "You really are in the mood for playing." Sky barked and left his tongue out. It was sorta hot so it was clear why Sky kept his tongue out. Carl threw the ball again, making sure he wouldn't throw it so far and cause Sky to jump in water or run too far off. Sky came back again with the ball and was obviously ready for a third round. Carl continued to throw the ball until Sky got tired. When Sky got tired, he curled on Carl's lap with his ball beside him and closed his eyes. He fell asleep with Carl petting him.

Carl had left about 2 hours later to go and get supplies. He came back with a jackpot. Food, Water, Medicine, and a whole bunch of ammunition. He had kept it all in his backpack in case if the community ever got destroyed. If it did, all the teens would have about a month worth of supplies. Apparently, Negan had saw what Carl had managed to scavenge. When Carl was hanging with the guys on the porch, Negan was taking the supplies, not officially like leaving away with it but he was putting them into his bag, yes, Negan is out of the hospital, you don't stay in the hospital for that long. Carl managed to enter the house and pulled his gun on Negan. Negan put the bag down and put his hands up with a smile on his face. Negan was with some of his men, and Carl shot one of them since they were about to make their getaway. Carl pointed it at Negan again and says "Put it back." Carl cocked his pistol, which meant he was about to shoot. "Or the next one goes in you." He still had his gun pointed at Negan. Leslie was upstairs with Judith. So was Beth and Lia. The guys were in a nearby basketball court. Leslie picked up Judith and walked downstairs. The guy that was with Enid earlier says "What do you think happens next?" Carl answers with "You die." Leslie was watching the scene before her eyes. Beth took out her knife and walked downstairs, Lia following behind. Leslie says "What is happening in here?" Judith was asleep in Leslie's arms. Carl says "They are taking our stuff. All the stuff I got from the supply run. The supplies for all the teens." Leslie whipped out her gun as well, yes, this girl finally uses a gun. She aimed at one of Negan's guys and says "Just because I have a kid with me does not mean I will not shoot." The guys came in as well and took out their weapons. Hiro with a gun. Blake with a bat. Kelvin with a knife. Beth had her knife and Lia had a machete. Carl says "You should go, before you figure out how dangerous we all are. This isn't even the whole crew." Leslie says "I could call the rest of them over easily. We are only missing about 6 teens." Negan and his guys finally leave and Carl sighs. Blake says "At least he didn't start much of a fight this time." The teens all nod and get back to what they were doing.
