Apocalyptic Love

Dancing- Chapter 23

Leslie is in her shared room. She tends to play loud music while in there, loud music that she can dance to. At the moment, Marie is in the hospital, yes the community does have a hospital. Lia, Tuba, and Elizabeth and with her in her room. Marie is talking about how they survived at the camp. Blake and Kelvin are playing basketball, and Andrew is practicing how to use a weapon, cause he don't know how to use one. Sophie likes to scavenge out the community and practice fighting off walkers. Enid likes to stay in her room by herself, usually reading books and fantasizing about her life with Carl. Which will never happen, so stop planning stuff Enid. Hiro is also with the boys playing basketball, he can finally make some guy friends around here. Leslie turns the volume up on her radio, hoping that no one is in the building and she can dance by herself, without worrying that anyone can see and judge her. She plays the song Level Up and starts dancing, I ain't gonna say what video in particular she is dancing like, she is just making her own dance moves to the rhythm and the beats of the music. She don't care if it's not a right way, she just does it and she has fun and that's all that matters, as long as you love what you do then keep doing it. She dances to that whole song, then she plays Hips Don't Lie by Shakira. This song has a lot of shaking hips. Then she dances to the song that they played at Culture Day at my school, I have no idea what it was called, but it was the second Spanish song. Then when she finishes the song she sits on the bed tired. Little does she know, Carl was standing in the hallway the whole time watching with a smirk on his face. Leslie drinks a bottle of water and Carl walks in and says "Wepa." Leslie turns to look at Carl and says "Please don't tell me you saw all of that..." Carl nods his head and says "If you wanted to dance, I know bachata, I could have danced with you." Leslie says with a smile on her face "You know bachata? Ooooh...I need to see that." Carl puts his hand in front of her and says "May I have this dance?" Leslie takes his hand and stands up and says "Yes you may." Leslie puts the song back on and they start dancing like the people did at culture day at my school, I wish I got a video I would have put it in here. 

Later, Blake goes to visit Marie, the girls stay with Marie in the morning and Blake stays with her all night. He walks into her room, he goes to her bed and kisses her head, then he sits in a chair beside the hospital bed. Marie opens her eyes and looks over at Blake and reaches out for him with one arm. Blake holds her hand and kisses it. Blake says "Hey, you're going to get better, I know it." Marie smiles a little and says "The girls were visiting me earlier...I missed hanging with Lia..." Blake says "Yeah, I know you missed her." Marie nods her head and says "The doctors said that I was getting better." Blake sighs a sigh of relief, he had been dying to hear some good news for a long time. He says "Thank god, that's the best news I have heard on so long..." Marie smiles and says "Are you going to stay all night...? No leaving me...?" Blake nods his head yes. Marie smiles and goes to sleep. 

THE NEXT DAY 

Leslie is still practicing her dancing, this time Judith is dancing beside her, all she is doing is jumping up and down and spinning while laughing. Leslie smiles. Judith keeps on laughing and starts to move her arms around in the air. Carl again watches from the doorway smiling at the scene in front of him. He enters the room and changes the song into the spanish song, Leslie smiles and dances with Carl. Judith gets in between them and starts trying to dance like them as well, she just shakes her hips side to side. Leslie and Carl dance to some songs doing the basics, like the twirling and going around the guy. When Leslie would around Carl, Judith would do the same. Then when they did the twirl, Judith just spun around, she would also look at their feet and try to copy them. It was pretty funny, when Leslie and Carl stopped for a break, Judith was still dancing, Carl decided to pick her up and tickle her making her laugh. Then Leslie and Carl both lay on the bed with Judith in the middle, Leslie and Carl look at each other and laugh while blushing. 

THE END 

I loved making this chapter, I just needed to make them dance together. It's really cute. Then of course, I needed to add Judith dancing as well to make it even cuter.
