Sada
Saturday, December 1st, 2018"I never had jackfruit tacos that good." I groan feeling like I'm going to burst at the seams.
After we got our food we sat and talked about life for about two hours. I was starting to getting a little tired so we decided to leave but we planned to hang out sometime for Billie's birthday.
"I feel like I'm gonna fucking explode." Billie groans and puts her head against the window. The protein bowl she got was huge but still somehow managed to pick off of my plate.
"That's what you get for being greedy, eating all my damn fries." I pout shoving her. She giggles and pokes her tongue out at me. "You better be happy I didn't threaten you, I don't play about my food."
"I gave you some of my food. Don't act like I ate all of yours."
"Which was nice. I can admit but you still owe me some fries." I point at her forming my eyes into slits.
"I'll get you more fries cry baby." She says cutely bumping my shoulder.
"I don't want to go home." I whine with a pout. I don't know when's the next time I'll see her again being that she's doing some traveling before her birthday.
"Wanna come over?" She asks, I look over at her see a small smile on her face. I blush lightly and feel my hands start getting sweaty.
"Um- sure? Uh, yeah." I stutter earning a chuckle from her.
"Relax. I don't bite, unless you want me to." I choke on my spit and pat my chest. She bursts into a fit of laughter and I roll my eyes.
"How bout I bite you." I threaten as I park in front of her house. I notice how cosy it looks from the outside. The complete opposite of what the I thought it would look like.
"Be careful. I like that rough shit." She laughs at my blushing face and gets out of the car. "Come on Mrs Tomato head." I give her the middle finger and get out of my car making sure to lock the doors.
"Your family gonna be cool with this?" I ask nervously forgetting all about the fact that she still lives with her family.
"Yeah, my family loves all my friends. Don't worry." She nudges my arm and unlocks the door to her house. I rub my wrist, something I do often when I'm nervous. We step inside and we meet two pairs of eyes, her mother Maggie and her father Patrick.
"Hi, I'm Sada." I nervously wave being sure to speak first. My mother always told me when you walk in someone else's home the respectful thing to do is speak first.
"Hello honey, I'm Maggie Billie's mom and this is her father Patrick." She smiles sweetly and her father says a hello with a deep baritone voice. His voice sounding like a voice you'd hear for a super hero on a cartoon.
"We're gonna go to my room." Billie announces grabbing my arm and dragging me down the hallway to a room with a The Office sign on her door.
I've never seen The Office because I heard a lot of people tell me it wasn't worth the watch but lately I've been wanting to give it a try to see for myself. Once we step into her room I'm met with the illuminated red light I always see whenever we'd Facetime.
"You never change this color?" I ask taking my shoes off by her bedroom door and looking around. I notice the many things she has displayed around her room.
"No, I like the red. It's sexy." She giggles and plops down on her bed. I nod in agreement.
"I agree. I have the light that changes but I mostly keep it on blue and purple." I come and sit up on her bed cross crossing my legs. "I like this." I say pointing at the Louis Vuitton blanket she has hanging on her wall.
