"But y'all don't understand how annoying that is for me to continuously hear." I press my back against the wall. Nya and Tori decided they wanted to talk when really I wanted to stay mad and process my emotions.
"And we're apologizing." Nya says simply and I rub my temples.
"Are you missing the point?" I shift to turn to her and she throws her head back with a loud groan.
"I don't want to keep dwelling on it Sada. We're apologizing."
"You apologize and do the same shit a week later so what's the point? You're wasting your breath and my time if you're gonna do the same shit later."
"We won't Sada." Tori chimes in.
"I don't want to hear shit about me and Billie unless it's advice I ask or how good we look together. That's it and I swear if I hear another thing-"
"You won't." Nya affirms and I nod, getting up to leave my room. They expressed to me that when I was with Emery they never saw me and I brushed them off when they needed me. I expressed them that I realized that and wasn't trying to do that this time around. I sure hope this won't be a problem anymore because I've had enough. I can't even get out of the honeymoon phase before some shit happens. Shit that they wanted to happen.
I plop onto the couch where I was originally seated and rub my temples feeling a massive headache come. Maddy comes and sits beside me, putting her head on my shoulder.
"Don't do that Sada."
"Do what?" I lay my head on hers.
"Stress yourself out. It's minor and has been solved." I relax my tense body at her words and nod.
"You're right. How are you feeling?"
She sighs and plays with the strings on the pillow under her arm. "I'm alright. Just trying to morph back into the old Maddy."
"Why would you do that? We don't want the old Maddy, we want a healthy and happy Maddy. You've probably experienced some stuff and met some people that'll change you forever."
"Yeah but I don't even know who the healthy and happy Maddy is."
"You'll know. Just work towards owning who you are now and appreciate your progress from now on." I say simply and she nods with a small smile.
"How'd you get so wise sister?"
"I have good roles models." I smile and kiss her forehead.

The next morning, I woke up in Maddy's room. We had decided to start our sister day last night after everyone left. Today we plan to cook breakfast, go take a hike and then maybe go to the mall.
"Goodmorning Mandi." I roll over and see she's finally awake. The difference between me and Maddy is that I'm an early bird and she can sleep in as much as possible.
"You look so cute. Here take a picture real quick." I sit up to get a good angle.
"No Sada, I look a mess." She puts her hand by her face and closes her eyes with a smirk.
