"Don't you know you're beautiful? The twinkle of my eye. Dont you know you're beautiful, you never make me cry, cry." I sing along to Ravyn Lenae as I make a left turn down my uncle's development.

I'm in a pretty good mood today, especially because I was able to eat a full breakfast without throwing it up. My body was a little achy in the middle of my shift but I pushed through.

I'm on my way to pick Tina up so we can go shopping for Olu's birthday. They're going to have dinner at this new restaurant so Tina thought it would be good to get a dress and pick up his gift. Kill two birds with one stone.

"Why must you and your cousin blast your music? Gonna blow out your damn ear drums." My uncle asks as he flings the door open.

"You think that cause you're old." I tease and he mushes my head. "Hey!" I laugh and push him out of the way so I can take my shoes off. "Where's my aunt?" I put my shoes by the door and go to the kitchen to wash my hands.

"Grocery store." Boo says and I turn seeing him coming in the kitchen with Trenton wearing the cutest little striped sleeper.

"Oh! Give me him!" I dry my hands off quickly and take him from my uncle. "You look so cute booger! Look at you." I coo and pick up his hand to kiss. I've been avoiding kissing his face because he's still pretty young and does not need my germs. "Let's go upstairs."

"How you gonna steal my boy?" Uncle Boo asks with a look of disbelief.

"He needs his cousin- aint that right booger?" I look down at him for confirmation and he makes a grunting noise. "Exactly. Love you Boo!" I call out to him as I walk up the stairs.

"Hey Titi!" I beam bursting through Tina's room, kicking the door open with my foot.

"Hey cousin." She says without her normal
enthusiasm making me furrow my eyebrows.

"What's the matter?" I close her bedroom door and sit on the edge of her bed. I lay Trenton down and let him take a tight grip on my finger.

"I missed my period." She blurts out and I whip my head in her direction. "I know! I know." She sighs and I open my mouth to speak but close it again, completely speechless.

"Did you tell O?" I ask after a moment of silence.

"Not yet. I haven't had any symptoms so I didn't want to stress myself out." She mumbles with a nervous look.

"I think you should get a test." I tell her honestly and she sighs.

"You think I should?" She asks and I nod. "Will
you take one with me?"

"Why?" I give her a confused look followed by a laugh.

"I don't know— I don't want to do it alone." She frowns.

"Uh, yeah okay. Do you want to go get them?"

"I have some already." She grabs a bag from the side of her bed and dumps out 5 pregnancy tests.

"Why're you waiting til now to take them?" I ask loudly making her shush me with a panicked look.

"I don't know but come on so we can."

"I don't have to pee!" I whisper loudly and she hands me her bottle of water.

"Drink up!" I smack my teeth but twist the cap off and chug some of the water.

"I don't even know why I'm doing this with you." I mumble in irritation and drink some more water.

"And now, we wait." She smiles and turns her tv up. "Let's watch The Originals." She leans back onto her bed and I shrug, getting comfortable.
