January 5th, 2019"Tell everyone what you just did!" I laugh recording an unamused Billie.
"I didn't do anything." She pushes the phone out of her face and I gasp.
"So you're going to lie to my face?" I push her hands away with a laugh. "Ba- Billie just tell them." She makes a face at my slip up and we both bust out laughing. I stop recording but decide to post it anyway.
"You almost slipped up yet again!" She teases with a light laugh after regaining her composure.
"I know it's so hard." She flops beside me and I sit up getting ready to leave to go Tori's house. I had came over here after work today and told Tori I'd meet them at her house. We're going to see a movie tonight.
"You're leaving now?" She asks sitting up on her elbows.
"Yeah, our movie is at 8 but of course they want to smoke before." I slide my pants on and slide my jacket on. "Aren't you going out with the twins?"
"Yeah, they want to go to dinner with everyone." She taps on her phone screen and I nod, sliding my jacket on.
"Will your cotton candy boyfriend be there?" I tease with a smirk on my face. She looks up at me from her phone with an irritated expression. She hates when I joke about Q and his tacky hair color.
"Will that be a problem?"
"No. Not unless you make it one." I shrug my shoulders and come beside the bed. I lean down to kiss her forehead and then her lips. "I love you, be safe." I grab my keys off her bedside table and slide my shoes on.
"I love you too" She smiles displaying her dimples and I reluctantly leave her room. I walk into the living room to say bye to her parents.
"See you tomorrow?" Maggie asks with a knowing smile.
"You sure will." I giggle walking towards the door. "Have a good night!" They wave bye to me and Maggie blows me a kiss. I catch it and put it on my cheek with a pout. She chuckles at my dramatics and I walk out the door closing it lightly behind me.
"I love them." I whisper to myself in awe and walk to my car unlocking the doors and getting in. I crank my car up and pull off not bothering to turn a playlist on. Out of My League by Fitz and The Tantrums comes on and I turn it up a little higher. When I first got this car this was the song me and Tori sung on the drive to school every morning.
We would blast it so loud until we got a headache. Just as I was getting into it someone calls my phone. I groan loudly but answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hey bitch. You on your way?" Nya says into the phone.
"Yeah. I just left Billie's house so I should be there in a little while." I shift in my seat and sit up a little closer to the wheel. Once I lean back onto the headrest I get tired and lose focus.
