Sada
Later that night.."Your skin is so clear. I'm jealous." Claudia, Finneas' girlfriend says and I wave her off, smiling appreciatively.
"Have you seen your skin? Smooth as a babies butt." I compliment earning a giggle from her. Billie's mom invited me over for dinner and I gladly accepted. We were all sitting at the dinner table just making conversation and despite my nervousness I'm having a good time. We all finished our food a while ago so we just sat with our empty plates getting wrapped up in conversation.
"So Sada, I overheard Billie say your mom owns a vegan restaurant." Billie's father Patrick says and I nod with a proud smile.
"Yeah it's called Beans and Things. Her and one of her high school best friends own it together. Her son happens to be one of my best friend's actually. They make their own recipes together. We also take customer recipe suggestions as well to make it feel like home." My mother and Mrs. Falcon put a lot of blood sweat and tears into this restaurant. Saying I'm proud of them would be an understatement.
"That's the place I was telling you guys about. The food is fucking fire." Billie says and they all nod in approval.
"We should go Patrick, for date night or something." Maggie says with a cute blush and I smile at that.
"That would be nice honey." Patrick says to Maggie as he kisses the back of her hand. I hold my chest and pout while Billie makes a gagging noise. Finneas erupts into laughter and I just shake my head.
"So Sada, you're a senior in high school right?" Claudia asks and I smile because I'm so close to graduation.
"Yes I am and I can't wait to be done." I say sighing and feeling Billie's hand brush against my thigh. I jump slightly just enough for her to see and I glance at her seeing her smirk. What the hell is she doing?
"You're gonna miss it trust me." She says with a knowing smile and I shake my head no. There's no way I would miss high school, it was absolute hell.
"I doubt it." I say earning a laugh from everyone around the table. Billie nudges me and I look over seeing her with spaghetti noodles dangling over her top lip like a mustache. I snicker quietly but loud enough to get everyone's attention.
"Billie! You're such a goof." Maggie says with a laugh. Finneas does the same and laughs loudly, a laugh similar to his sister's but of course deeper.
I glance down at my watch and notice it's 10:30. I don't know where the time went but time flies when you're having fun I guess.
"I should get ready to go, it's late." I say breaking the conversation they were having. I look over at Billie and she pouts making my heart flip. I love when she makes that face.
"Oh no honey, you should stay. We wouldn't want you driving home so late." Maggie says and my heart thumps so hard it feels like it'll come out of my chest.
"Oh no that's okay, I've driven late bef-" I say trying to get out of it.
"She's gonna stay." Billie cuts me off making my head snap in her direction. "You're gonna stay." She says sternly and I plead with my eyes, missing my own bed.
"I'll stay." I say turning my attention back to Maggie with a smile.
"Let's go to my room." Billie says pulling me up from the chair. I send everyone a smile as she drags me down the hall and into her room.
"Who said I wanted to stay with you?" I joke scrunching my face up.
"You should be honored to sleep in the same bed as me." She replies cockily and I nod my head in approval. She goes into her drawer and passes me one of her large t-shirt's.
