Chapter 4

Mom- Yes she is the director of a secret government organization called the time bureau, they make sure the timeline doesn't get messed up. That is where she is right now, something messed up the timeline and she had to go deal with it.

A second later a white flash of light then a different shows up and Mama walked through in a button down and a pantsuit.

Mama- Sara are you okay what's the big emergency that you told-' She was looking at her watch and pauses when she sees us 'Girls! I didn't see you there, How are you?'

She was definitely trying to cover up the fact that she just randomly appeared in our living room.

Laurel- Really mama, you are trying to skip over the fact that you just appeared out of nowhere

Ava- Maybe?

 She glances at mom and mom says 'They found out we might as well be fully honest' 

 Ava- Well you could have warned me a little jeez. 

Mama seems to notice the bandage and runs over to mom and says 'Are you okay what happened?' 

Sara- I am okay don't worry. Mom kissed mama on the cheek. 

Laurel- Okay hold on so you are superheroes 

Ava- Well I technically wasn't but Sara was, she retired when she got pregnant with you guys 

Dani- So we are the reason you stopped doing what you loved?

Sara- No we were both getting older and it was dangerous and it just became too much. We were both always too worried about if the other would come home, so I agreed to stop doing field work and Ava did the same. I still train people and Ava still works for the Bureau but we are in a lot less danger.

Laurel sighs in relief, 

Dani- Why did you guys hide this from us?

Mama looks at Mom and they share a worried glance

Sara- There is some stuff in our past that is... um unsavory and I don't know if we are ready to talk about it

Laurel- Mom it is us. There is nothing you could say or have done in the past that will change the way we look at you,' 

Laurel squeezed our moms hands and I nodded in agreement before saying 'As long as you teach me some of your old moves'

Laurel- And we can see whatever the wave rider is

Ava- I think Laurel will like Gideon for some reason,

Sara- Probably and sure Dani I will teach you, who knows maybe you will be the next black canary

Mom earns a hard punch from mama for that 'There is no chance in hell I am letting either of my babies anywhere near that madness. I mean Lana and Fey are going to go into the field I don't need four people to worry about' 

Laurel- Wait why would they become superheroes? They don't have powers

Sara- Yah they do, Lana is half Kryptonian, and Fey is half shapeshifter and she will inherit a magical totem. 

Dani- Wait as in Kryptonian kryptonian like supergirl? and superman?

Ava- Yah Kara is Supergirl,

Laurel and I- WHAT? 

Dani- Our dork of an Aunt is Supergirl?

Ava- Well yah it shouldn't be that surprising after you heard all their stories,

Dani- Shouldn't that make Lana very strong? She is one of the most gentle people and I have beaten her at arm wrestling

Sara- No idea, I wouldn't confront her about it though let her get comfortable with it and then tell you when she is ready
