Chapter 16

3 weeks later Dani's POV 

Ava- Dani honey hurry up! You are gonna be late!

I hear my mama call from downstairs.

Dani- Coming!

I shake Laurel up and we both quickly get changed and head downstairs for breakfast.

I hear Blue mentally grown 'I am an Alien and I believe I hate Mondays and mornings more than most humans

I roll my eyes and think 'Aren't you living technology? Do you even sleep?'

Blue- Not exactly I power down and review my software to make sure I have no viruses or glitches.

Dani- Fair enough 

I grab a plate full of bacon and set it down. I quickly tie my blonde hair into a ponytail. 

I roll up the sleeves of my red flannel before digging in.

Laurel was wearing a summer dress and a shawl and left her hair down as she dug in also.

Mom (Sara)- Girls the queens, the Tomass, the Danvers, the Danvers-Luthors, the Nal-Washington, the Zatara's, the West-Allen's are coming over for dinner so please be home by 5:30, oh and the Arias's.

Laurel- Got it, mom!' Laurel quickly finishes her food and leaves to grab our bags. I finish quickly also and grab our plates and put them in the sink.

I turn back around and kiss both of my mom's on the check before meeting my sister at our 1970 ford bronco.

Dani- You driving?

Laurel- Sure, you can drive tomorrow.

I hope into the passenger seat and start to grab the aux cord but get my hand is smacked by my sister who says 'You are driving that means my music.' I roll my eyes as my secretly dorky sister starts blasting Heathers.

It takes us about 10 minutes to get to school.

Laurel- I am going to study during 7th so I can give you a ride home I will meet you in the library courtyard.

Dani- Okay have a good day sissy,

Laurel- 'Bye dork,' She says with a warm smile as she walks to her friends.

I roll my eyes at my short sister and walk to my locker where my amazing girlfriend was waiting for me.

Lana- Hey Dani, how you doing?

Dani- Good, you want a ride to our house after school because you are coming over later anyway. 

Lana- Let me text my mom's and I will let you know

She nods and we walk into our history class.

*Time skip to the end of seventh period Dani's POV still

I walk out of my last class and text Laurel 'On my way' 

It takes about a minute for me to get to the library. I walk through the building after saying hi to the nice old lady who is the librarian of our school.
