Chapter 19

Last time

Ava- Okay we will talk about those assholes when they are done but let's get back to the other topic and the fact that YOU HAVE A FREAKING GREEN LANTERN RING!!!???'

Laurel-Yah so I was fighting them off and I ended up on the ground and then this ring showed up and I heard someone tell me to say something I don't even remember what it was and I can't remember anything until one of those two were helping me up and I almost passed out.

I turn to the speedsters and say 'Did you hear what she said?'

Bart- No but maybe Lana did, let's go ask her and check on Dani

Sara- Gideon, any change in Dani's condition

Gideon- Her condition has not changed

2 hours later

Dani's POV

I groan and my eyes slowly open to see the familiar walls of the wave rider. It takes a little for my eyes to adjust to the light but it happens eventually and I look to my right to see my girlfriend sleeping in a chair. 

I try and sit up but the pain is too much so I fall backwards and cry out from the pain as I grab my side. 

I must have cried out rather loudly because Lana wakes up and is by my side in an instant. 

My moms run into the room shortly after with Laurel on their heals. 

Ava- Dani! Are you okay?

It takes a minute of deep breathing before I could respond.

I am still out of breath and I say 'I have a stab wound in my side, several broken ribs and maybe a broken wrist. I am in the equivalent of a hospital for the third or fourth time in 4 months so no I am not okay.' 

Mom gave me a light side hug trying not to hurt me before saying 'Hey baby, you have family,' 

Conner walks in with two redheads I didn't recognize and says 'and friends' 

I hear Lana whisper 'And me...' I reach back and squeeze her hand. 

Laurel- You got this and I also may be joining in the family business...

I glance at my twin with a questioning glance and say 'What do you mean?' 

Laurel holds up her right hand were a green and black ring was on her pointer finger. It takes me a second to recognize the ring as the other artifact from all those weeks ago.

I raise my eyebrow at Laurel and she seems to read my mind and says 'Yep it's a lot weirder then you would think,' 

Dani- Good to know I am excited to know more about it. By the what happened I don't remember anything after walking into the courtyard.
