Chapter 15

AN: This is going to be a short chapter because I want to post something for you too read and not make you wait for a longer amount of time. 

Dani- What do you mean you don't know??!!

Alex- Kryptonite should have completely suppressed her powers. Even with the bracelet off she has never used her powers and she is still in the presence of the substance and it should have weakened her.

Dani- So?

Kara- It may be possible that Lana has built up a resistance to Kryptonite.

4 hours later Dani's POV

I am pacing back and forth in Laurel and I's room. 

Blue- Dani, calm down. They said she would be fine. 

Dani- I can't calm down. They said she would be okay for now but they don't know the long term effect it may have on her

Blue- Look will it make you feel better if I scan Lana and see if I can find anything that may be a problem in the future. 

I smile and think 'Blue, you are growing on me,'

Blue- I don't believe that is true Dani. I would be aware if I was growing. 

I roll my eyes at Blue as I hear a knock at my door. 

'Come in!' I yell!

Mama walks in and gives me a warm smile. 

Mama- Hey hun. Kara just called.

Ava's POV

I knock on Dani and Laurel's door and hear her yell 'Come in!' 

Kara had called us about 10 minutes ago to say that they were going to start testing the extent of Lana's powers after school tomorrow. Alex also wants to continue training her so they are inviting us over for a Friday afternoon barbeque/training session. 

I smile at her and say, 'Hey hun. Kara just called.'

Her eyes widen slightly and her mouth turns into a worried frown as she says, 'What did she say?'

Ava- Lana is going to be okay. The exposer to kryptonite from such a young age and the fact that she is only half Kryptonian has made her very resistant to kryptonite. It doesn't seem to have long term consequences just positives. 

I see her sigh in relief. 

Dani- Oh thank everything that is holy and unholy. 

Ava- Yah, the Danvers-Luthors are having a BBQ and training session tomorrow after school. Alex wants to continue your training and you can keep an eye on Lana while she trains to figure out the extent of her powers and which ones she has. 

Dani- Sounds good thanks, Mama.

She looks down while taking a seat on her bed. I see a tear run down her cheek. 

I walk up and sit next to her and give her a side hug. 

Mama- What's wrong baby? I just told you she is gonna be okay. 

Dani- I know I just care so much about her and I know literally nothing about krypton or how to help her through this. She is my soulmate and I can't help her with anything. 

I get that feeling... Sara went through a lot of things when she had to go back Li Ane Yu for the third time. 

I knew nothing about how too help. With the people, you love it is a terrible feeling. 

Ava- I totally get that Dani. Something similar happened with your mom and I. I talked to Oliver about stuff and it helped me help your mother. 

Dani- Really? What happened?

Ava- I will tell you another time. But you should talk to Kara. She lived on Krypton for 13 years and does know a lot about the subject. Go talk to her and try to find out as much as you want. It may help you understand Lana better. 

Dani hugs me tightly and says, 'Thank you!' 

Before standing and walking out of the room. Probably to find her sister.
