Chapter 25

Dick keeps a neutral face and just says 'Dick'

Mor roars saying 'WHAT DID YOU CALL ME???!!!'

While charging at Dick. Lana stops him with Dani's help and I quickly explain 'That's his name he isn't calling you a dick'

Mor- Oh my apologize,

Morgan- His temper is not the best.

Fey- No worries I am Fey but don't get pissed when we beat you at bowling

My best friend says with a smirk. 

Cassie- You are all going down now that introductions are over let's get on with it. Morgan, are you playing or do you have to keep working?

Morgan- Nah I can play this was my last day anyways I am starting an internship as the big boss ladies scientific assistant next week so this was just a temporary job. 

Dani- Well let's get started then. 

The lanes had already had our names put in them so it only took a couple of pushes of some buttons to get the game going. 

Dani's POV

The games go by quickly with my winning the first game, Cassie winning the second, Vers winning the third with Laurel only losing by a point. 

Lana comes up to me in the middle of the fourth game and whispers 'Does Laurel realizes that she has a huge crush on Vers and Vers is crushing hard on her also' 

I hear Conner chuckle from the bench on the other side of the seating area. 

I giggle also and say 'To my knowledge, she has no freakin clue' 

Lana snorts and says 'Dang she is oblivious to Vers and her own feelings' 

I hear Conner snort and cough while saying 'Hypocrite' under his breath. 

He receives a look that I am a little worried may turn into heat vision if Conner keeps pushing his luck. 

Luckily for him, it was Lana's turn to bowl so she gets distracted. 

Lana has control of most of her powers but if her temper is tested she loses that control to an extent. 

The last game goes by quickly with an upset. Conner won by 5 with a turkey in the 10th frame. 

There is a small arcade in the bowling alley that we play in for an hour or so but eventually, parents start showing up. 

Bart, Wally, and Matt leave with Iris when she shows up to pick them up. They smile and walk off before saying a quick goodbye. 

Nia picks up Conner, Cassie, Dick, and Fey to study for a history exam they have next week. Diana was planning on helping them. Her Ph.D. in ancient history seems like it could help them a boat load. 

It is just Vers, Mor, Laurel, Lana, and Morgan left in the arcade. 

Laurel turns to Morgan and says 'You said you are going to be a scientific assistant right?'

Morgan- Yeah it seems like it is going to be a great experience. I don't know much about who I am going to be assisting but my dad says that they are equal to him in smarts so.' She says with a shrug. 'That's got to be pretty damn smart' 

Vers laughs and says 'That's the understatement of the century your dad is a freaking genius!' 

Dani laughs and says 'Who is your dad?' 

Morgan- Well one of my dads (AN: I have nothing against Pepper and Tony, in fact, I think they are really freaking adorable and I ship them a lot but I have seen a lot of fan art for Tony and steve so I am going to do that as Morgans parents but Pepper is her biological mother and the person who gave birth to her. If yall have a problem with that... Deal with it. ) is Tony Stark.
