Chapter 22

AN: Thank you for 1K I love you guys so much! I made an executive decision to add marvel next-gen also. I don't know if anyone has done this before but I like it and it is mostly going to be Valcarol's child but I think I may do some others. 

Last time...

I turn to the two teen speedsters and say 'I don't think we got properly introduced earlier. I am Dani, Laurel's twin, and Lana's girlfriend. I also happen to have an ancient alien artificial intelligence that gives me an exoskeleton and some other abilities,'

Wally- Nice to meet you I am Wally aka Kid flash, I am a speedster like my uncle Barry and...----'

Bart- Cousin. I am Bart aka Impulse. Though this is very crash and we are still in a time ship thingy which is SUPER crash, but we should let you rest and we should get home and sleep.'

Barry- Agreed we are gonna get out of your hair good night.

1 week later 

Laurel's pov

I am sitting in chemistry class bored out of my mind. 

The past week has been crazy but Dani has been working really hard on getting better and Blue has been helping her out. My family, friends, and Lana have been on her ass to rest but I can tell my twin is getting very stir crazy not training or starting to save anyone. 

She was supposed to start on a basic night patrol a couple of nights ago but because of her injuries, our parents won't let her. I am going to go on my first patrol in a week. 

Mr. Franklen our teacher interrupts my thoughts by saying 'Mrs. Danvers,' I look up curiously because Lana isn't in this class. She was Math with Dani right now.  I follow his line of sight to the back of the class were a girl with long dirty blonde who was asleep and leaning back in her chair.  'I know you are new to my class but you should know that you aren't allowed to sleep in class. Chemistry can be boring but you are not allowed to be asleep the whole time.'

The other Danvers just opens her eyes and gives Mr. Franklen a look that would kill him if looks could. 

I hear her scoff but sit up. I think she can sense me starring at her because her attention shifts to me and she gives me a smirk. It causes me to blush and look back at the board quickly. 

The rest of the class goes by quickly but I can feel the strange girl in the back eyes on me every couple of minutes. It was driving me wild. 

*After class at Laurel's locker at the end of the day*

I am putting my books away and I grab the keys to my car and shut my locker. I jump when I see this 'Mrs. Danvers' leaning against the locker next to me. I still don't know her first name. 

Danvers- Hi. We have chemistry together and I forgot to copy down the homework could I get your number so you can text me what it is and maybe help me if I have questions. 

I blush at her gorgeous smile and gorgeous voice. She is just so gorgeous. 

I realize I am starring and quickly look down and say 'Sure but you have to tell me your name before I give it to you.' 

Danvers- Fair enough, I am Vers. Nice to meet you...?

Dani walks up next to me and says 'Laurel. Her name is Laurel and who are you.' 

I can sense Dani getting protective so I squeeze her arm, give her the keys, and say 'Dani, here are the keys I will meet you at the car in a second' 

I hear her grumble under her breath but she grabs the keys and gives a quick glance at Vers before walking away. 

'Sorry about her,' I say as I grab a pen and a small piece of paper which I use to write my number down on. 'Here is my number. You have to actually text me for me to tell you the homework.' 

Vers- Did you think I was going to ask for your number and not text you. She says with that infuriating smirk and an even more frustrating eyebrow raise. 

Laurel- It wouldn't be the first time. 

Vers- Aww is someone sad that their girlfriend doesn't text them?

I raise an eyebrow and say 'Girlfriend?' because I am not currently in a relationship. 

Vers- Yah is the girl who just walked away not your girlfriend. She seemed really overprotective of you and jealous of us talking.' This causes me to crack up. She gives me a weird look as I continue laughing. 'What?'

Laurel- That was my twin sister Dani! She is overprotective because we used to get bullied a lot and still do sometimes because of our moms.' There is a look of shock and recognition on her face. 'Some stuff happened last week before you started going here, that made her more overprotective of me and our friends. Also, Dani and her girlfriend are really in love.' 

Vers- Makes sense. Now that I think about it you guys do look similar. But the question still remains is there a boyfriend in your life?

I decide to do something risky. I step forward and whisper 'Not my type babe you were right the first time babe' in her ear before stepping back and winking at her and walking toward my car and Dani.
