Chapter 24

Last time...

Laurel- Well why don't you hang out with my sis, some of our friends, and I at the bowling alley tomorrow.

Vers- Sounds like fun what time should I meet you there?

Laurel- Does 12 sound okay sissy

Dani- Sounds perfect just text the group chat the details.

I quickly do that and then text Vers '12'

Vers- See you then

Dani's POV the next day at the alley

Laurel and I arrived early and we bought two lanes for some bowling fun 

Lana walks in with Conner, Kelly, and Kara as Dani and I put on our bowling shoes. 

Kara- Hey Lancer twins

Laurel- Hey Kara! 

Lana walks up and hugs me as I give her a kiss on the forehead. 

Conner says 'Hi! I am grabbing shoes for us!' 

As Conner leaves to grab shoes and as he does Bart, Matt, and Wally walk in and approach us. 

Bart- Wasssssuppp people

Lana- Hey Bart!  

Kara- Have fun you guys and gals! I have to get back to work for a meeting! Lana kick their asses!

Wally- Bye Kara! 

Fey is the next to arrive shortly after her departure. 

We all have our shoes on and I see Laurel keep glancing at her phone with a frown on her face. 

I look up and see Vers in a brown leather jack and an old raggedy baseball cap that is covering her short dirty blonde hair. I make eye contact with her chocolate almost black eyes and give her a smile and wave her over. 

Laurel is too focused on her phone to see Vers walk in. 

It takes Vers about a minute to get her shoes and walk up to our group. She spent some time talking to the girl who was passing out shoes. She had long brown hair with the right side shaved close to her head. She definitely wasn't our age she seemed to be in her early 20s. 

Dick, Cassie, and Fey are the next people to show up and they approach the counter forcing Vers to walk to our group. 

Laurels POV

I am looking down at my phone. I am waiting for Vers to text me that she is here. Someone sits down next to me. 

I say 'Dani-' 

My head whips around when Vers says 'Sorry to disappoint but it is me.' 

I smile and roll my eyes at her and then shoved her shoulder in a playful way. 

Laurel- Oh that is such a big disappointment my sister is the best! 

Dani walks up and says 'Laur you kissing my ass isn't going to save you from the beat down that is coming your way.' 

Vers raises an eyebrow as my sister leaves to find a ball. 

Laurel- Dani! Grab me a ball also! You know the one I want. 

Lana-  I got you Laur, but you are still going down you and your sister

Vers and I laugh as the raven-haired girl walks away (I forget what color I made her hair in the beginning but it is going to be raven now so I can introduce a new concept that is from comics sooo that is coming soon)
