Finally. The bus has stopped.

Meaning, nandito na sila sa Pampanga.

Ellie tried her very best not to burst into tears, but hindi niya nakaya. Bigla na lamang tumulo ang luha niya.

She didn't get the answer she wanna hear from Grey. Hindi sinabi ng binata kung ano ang nakita niyang gamit which made her mad at him, kaya hindi sila nagkikibuan ngayon.

Agad niyang pinunasan ang luha niya nang mapansin niyang napatingin si Grey sa gawi niya.

There's no way this Grey guy can know her dark past.

"Don't stare at me." sabi ni Ellie habang nakatalikod kay Grey.

"Assuming, huh?"

"Talaga."

"I'll go down first. I need to help my friend with her things. Don't cry, okay? You're just overthinking. We're only here for days. Matanda ka na to miss your home." tumawa ito, pero naiyak muli si Ellie.

Little did he know that Pampanga was her first home and her always home. That both the most painful and happiest part of her life happened in this province.

They're exactly in Magalang, Pampanga. Their seminar will be help in a place where trees are everywhere. There's a lake nearby and garden of flowers and plants. A farm with few animals. Matutulog naman sila sa mga villa na nakatayo sa tabi ng lake.

A paradise. — but with Ellie's Pampanga memories, she can't and surely won't enjoy even just a bit of it.

Pagbaba niya sa bus, sumalubong sa kaniya ang sariwang hangin. Bitbit niya ang bag niya habang papunta sa room nila.

"Welcome to Pampanga, guys!" it was one of her professors who welcomed them.

Hindi niya ito pinansin. Nilagpasan niya ito. Rude, but she's not in the mood to smile or to laugh at the moment or even later, tomorrow or the next day.

If only hindi siya nag-pumilit na mag-blow ng candle sa birthday niya, if only she didn't demand to have a birthday party, hindi sana magiging miserable ang buhay niya.

She would've still here in Pampanga waiting for his first love to comeback to her.

Nang makarating siya sa kwarto, wala pa si Grey sa loob. They were head counting, so hinanap niya ang binata. Because kung wala ang partner mo, you'll be marked absent. Yes. The seminar is recorded and even graded.

"Saan kaya pumunta ang lalaking 'yon?" mahinang tanong ni Ellie sa sarili habang palakad-lakad sa tabi ng lawa.

Nahagip ng mata ni Ellie ang pinsan niyang hayop kung maka-lingkis walang iba kung hindi kay Grey. Her blood instantly boiled seeing the two together habang tumatawa ang mga ito na naka-upo sa damuhan.

Umulan sana para magmukha kayong mga basang sisiw!. sabi sa isip ni Ellie.

Without a word, dinala si Ellie ng mga paa niya papalapit sa dalawa. But before realizing it, malapit na siya sa mga ito at huli na nang tumalikod siya. Grey saw her, but not her bitchy of a cousin.

"Wait—"

Sigurado siya na malalaman niya rin naman, so she turned around to face them and she raise her right eyebrow.

"Yes? Anything you want? Sorry, but I can't give them to you. Bye." she rolled her eye balls at mabilis na tumalikod ulit. Nakita niyang halos tumawa nang malakas ang demonyita niyang pinsan.

"And Grey, someone's looking for you, head count ata hindi ako sure. Check it yourself nalang." then she left.

"UGH!!" naiinis si Ellie, dahil hindi niya nabigyan ng magandang eksena ang pinsan niya.

Nakabalik siya sa kwarto nila, pero wala parin si Grey. She can't be marked absent nang dahil lang wala si Grey kaya mabilis niyang binalikan ang binata para kaladkarin ito sa kwartong naka-assign sa kanila.

Pagbalik niya, mag-isa nalang ang pinsan niya habang kinikilig na nakatingin sa cellphone niya.

"Hey, couz. Ikaw pala 'yan. Why are you here?" inismiran ni Ellie ang pinsan niyang si Sophia.

"Bakit? Sa'yo ba 'tong lawa that I cannot come here whenever I want?"

"You're so mataray talaga. I was just asking you tinatarayan mo agad ako.." her voice sounded freaking annoying!

"Can you please stop pretending that you're not a daughter of satan?" tumawa naman ito.

"I'm not pretending to be nice. I'm always this nice to you, but you're just being stubborn and mean everytime nalang, couz." halos masuka si Ellie.

"You know what, bitch? I don't play games with you. Hearing you calling me cousin is freaking killing me." Sophia smirked as an answer.

"Then die..." she almost whispered what she said.

"You wanna try it first?"

"Sure, dear. But.... how...." Sophia playfully laughed.

Ellie walked towards her and Sophia automatically step backwards.

"Akong bahala, SOPHIA." she emphasized her full name.

"Oh, really, ELLIE?" nanghahamon na tumango si Ellie.

"I thought you're lame, but you're actually amusing. Sana noon ka pa ganito para naman hindi ka boring na kausapin." without a word, she slapped Sophia.

"Why did you.... you..." hindi niya natuloy ang sasabihin niya nang sampalin uli ni Ellie ang kabilang pisngi ng pinsan niya. She's mad right now.

"You, bitch!!!"

"Yes. I'm a bitch, Sophia. So if I were you, ngayon pa lang, manginginig na ako sa takot..." Ellie stopped walking, dahil isang hakbang na lang ay mahuhulog na sila sa lawa.

"At bakit ako matatakot sa kagaya mo Ellie? Ikaw dapat ang matakot, dahil kahit kailan o kahit anong sabihin ko sa daddy MO— oops, daddy KO nalang pala. Tinakwil ka na, 'diba? Ako ang paniniwalaan niya. Because for him, you're a failure and not her daughter, but a plain girl to blame with his wife's death." nanginginig na malakas na sinampal ni Ellie si Sophia, dahilan para mahulog siya sa lawa.

She may be mad at her cousin, pero hindi siya kasing-demonyita nito para hayaang malunod ang pinsan niya. So she quickly grabbed her cousin's arm, pero lumubog lang silang dalawa dahil nagpahulog si Sophia at tinangay pa si Ellie. A definition of a real long-standing bitch.

"Oh my gosh, Sophia... are... you... o-okay?" Ellie is almost drowning.

"This is all your fault! Laging ikaw ang may kasalanan. People around you are doomed because of you! Are you even aware of that!?" the side of her lips is bleeding.

"S-s-sorry... I... I'm... not..." oh gosh, why did she even apologized to this demon while she's here drowning in a feet deep of a lake.

And because of panic that her cousin will drown, Ellie forgot that she can't swim, while her cousin Sophia is a professional swimmer.

Ellie tried to hug Sophia, para hindi siya patuloy na lumubog, but Sophia was pushing her. She's almost out of breath.

But after a second, she found her cousin drowning too and that shocked her because that is totally impossible . And surprisingly, a man with a familiar face came to rescue.

"PHIA!" her heart froze. Does Grey knew all along that her name is Phia?

And... is he...

No, that's impossible. She can't be Cal. Cal is sweet and this guy isn't the Cal she used to know.

Before she can even say a word, her cousin shouted back.

"CAL, HELP ME!" that made her heart beats thousand times faster.
