"Wala na ba kayong nakalimutan? In five minutes, aalis na tayo." It was one of their professors. They're finally going back to Manila after the days of the seminar.

"Everything is okay na po, ma'am."

"Sure?"

"Settled!"

"Okay, let's go."

It's been three days after Grey confess those three words to Ellie that made her heart explode. Magkatabi sila ngayon sa bus, but unlike nung papunta pa lang sila, hindi na sila nagkakailangan.

They are even laughing about each others experience while spending the rest of time days sa Pampanga kahapon together. Sila lang dalawang magkasama. Hindi nagpakita sa kanila ang malditang pinsan ng tunay na Ellie, kaya hindi nagka-problema.

Pagdating nila sa Manila, palubog na ang araw. Kahit pagod sa biyahe, Grey still insisted para ihatid sila Elisse at Ellie pauwi sa bahay, because ayaw niyang umuwi silang mag-isa.

Sweet.

Akmang kukunin na ni Grey ang bag na dala ni Ellie, but she refused. Nope. Hindi dapat gawing taga-bitbit ang mga lalaki ng mga gamit ng mga babae. Isa pa, hindi naman mabigat, so why?

"Ibibigay mo 'yan o ibibigay mo?"

"No. Shut up."

"Isa, Ellie..." she glared at him.

"Hindi nga, Grey. No. Hindi. Andwae." natawa naman si Grey sa biglaang pagko-korean niya.

"It's because ayokong parang kasama lang kita para may taga-bitbit ako ng mga gamit or para mai-asa ko sa'yo yung mga bagay na dapat ako yung gumagawa. Gets?" he shrugged.

"Hindi ko ibibigay. Final. Okay?"

"But I insist," he snatched the bag from her arm. "Not because I'm holding this bag right now, pinapa-shoulder mo sa'kin mga bagay na dapat ikaw gumagawa? No. I just want to do things for you that I failed to do earlier— and nope. I'm not just doing dahil I feel guilty for not recognizing you earlier. Simple lang. I love doing things for you."

Natameme si Ellie sa tuluy-tuloy na litanya ni Grey sa kaniya. She's too happy. Her heart is too happy that she feels like she could explode anytime na mahawakan siya ni Grey.

Nagtagumpay si Grey sa pagdala ng bag ni Ellie. Nang malapit na sila sa bahay biglang tumigil sa paglalakad si Ellie.

"Dito na lang nga. Isa, Grey... Uuwi ka pa. Wala ka namang dalang sasakyan." pamimilit ni Ellie na iwan na sila malapit sa subdivision nila Elisse.

"Ayaw ko. At please lang, huwag mo na akong ipagtabuyan, kasi hindi naman ako aalis."

"Sana all!!" sigaw naman ni Elisse mula sa harapan nila, dahil nauuna siya sa paglalakad. Ang haba kasi ng bias, kaya ganun.

Habang papalapit sila sa bahay ay napansin ni Ellie ang pamilyar na sasakyan. At nang makarating na sila sa harapan ng bahay, doon niya nakumpirma na sa daddy niya ang sasakyan na 'yon.

Bakit pupunta ang daddy niya rito?

Agad na pumasok sila kasama si Grey. Pagpasok nila sa sala, sinalubong sila ng tingin ng parents ni Elisse at ang daddy ni Ellie.

"Dad.."

"Ellie.."

"Why are you here?"

Huminga ng malalim ang daddy niya at napatingin sa gawi ni Grey na ngayon ay hindi maipinta ang mukha.
Imbes na sumagot sa tanony ni Ellie, naglakad siya papalapit kay Grey na namamawis, dahil sa kaba.

"Who are you?"

"Hello, sir. I am Callum Grey Elliot . Ellie's—"

"He's a friend. MY friend." Ellie finished what Grey's about to say.

"And why are you with MY daughter when you should be home right now?  kauuwi niyo lang from Pampanga?" natameme ang binata.

"Hinatid niya 'ko. Now that alam mo na, you can go now. Papasok na po ako sa kwarto, because I'm tired and I don't have the energy to argue with you." akmang aalis na siya nang higitin siya ng Daddy niya.

"Ellie, hindi ka pa ba nagtanda? I even disowned you because of this disrespectful attitude of yours, hindi ka parin natuto?" Hinarap ni Ellie ang tatay niya.

"Have you ever taught me how to be the daughter you've always dreamed of having, dad?" her tears started to fall.

"All you did was to blame me. To tell me and to remind me everyday how failure I am as a daughter and as a person. Sorry because I'm living, dad. Sorry because I survived and not mom. Sorry because I'm breathing everyday." her dad stiffened

Hindi niya alam kung bakit nasabi niya lahat ng ito, knowing that Grey, his one and only and the last person na gusto niyang sabihan ng nararamdaman niya ay nandito.

"Sir, she's hurting... With all due respect, please let her go." hindi siya pinakinggan nito.

"Don't interfere with this, hijo. Wala ka sa lugar para makialam sa usapan namin. You know nothing." Lalong napahigpit ang hawak nito kay Ellie. Binitawan ni Grey ang bag ni Ellie at agad na lumapit sa dalawa para hilain si Ellie para ikulong sa mga bisig niya.

"Sorry, sir. I respect you with all of my heart because you are my one and only love's dad, but she's hurting and the last thing I wanna see is to see her in pain." Ellie's Dad laughed in sarcasm.

"Is that what you call respect? I warned you. Ang sabi ko, do not interfere, but what you did is you disrespect me." Grey shook his head.

"If this is disrespecting for you, then I'll let you think what you wanna think, sir. If respecting you means letting myself watch you hurt Ellie, then sorry. I can't do that." He stares at Ellie who's now by his side.

"She's my long lost life and she's precious to me. Seeing her in tears feels like being stabbed repeatedly."

Ellie is out of words.

She can't even make a sentence nor say a word. She doesn't know what to feel.

Callum Grey always makes her heart and soul happy— that's an understatement.

"G-grey..."

"Shut up, Ellie... Just shut up. I love hearing your voice, but you're too tired to talk right now. I'll fight for you. Don't worry." naiyak si Ellie sa mga sinabi ni Grey. She can't believe that he said those words kahit na nasa harapan pa sila ng Daddy niya.

Did he forget that she only introduced him as her friend and not her one and only Cal who he met years years ago way back in Pampanga where there is their old burnt home?

How can this man be so sweet?

How can he makes her heart 100% full of love every second, every minute, every day?

"THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE..." his dad shook his head.

"So this is him now? Tsk tsk tsk... Ellie, just live your life to the fullest by yourself, because being happy with him? Won't last long. I promise you." Those words came from his one and only beloved father.

Is he really her father?

Paano niya nagawang balaan ang anak niya na hindi magtatagal ang kasiyahan niya, when parents want the best for their kids?
