A/N: Drama and feels coming at you ...
Kirstie's POV
A week after my 16-week scan, the band was at tour rehearsals again. We were learning new choreography for Havana, as Lindsay and Craig didn't want me climbing onto tables whilst I was pregnant. It just wasn't safe. The day had already been a bit weird for me, because I'd woken up to my stomach cramping. I didn't think much of it, because I was used to it doing that before morning sickness kicked in. The weird cramping came and went all morning and showed up every now and then during rehearsals.
"Ahhh!" I wrapped my arms around my stomach and doubled over halfway through Havana. Matt and Scott ran over to me and held me steady until the pain subsided.
"Are you okay?" Mitch asked, completely panicked.
"Yeah. Just random stomach cramps." I said.
"Kirstie, I want you to sit and chill for at least 15 minutes. Just in case." Kevin said. He had the doctor knowledge and it was coming from a good place, so I did as he asked. I still wasn't sure what it was, but that one took my breath away.
Kevin let me join in again once the specified time had gone by and everything seemed fine. We started to run Havana again, but I didn't get even a minute into it before my stomach cramped again. This time, it was so strong that I dropped to my knees on the floor. I felt my body get ready to throw up, but I didn't have time to move before it was on the floor in front of me.
Craig cleaned up my puddle and Lindsay cleaned me up before they tried to move me. When Matt and Scott helped me up, I was really light-headed. Kevin saw it on the floor before anyone else.
"Kirstie? Is that blood?" he asked. Everyone looked to where I had just been sat, and sure enough there was a small patch of blood on the floor. Matt and Scott led me over to the sofa on the side of the room so Lindsay could check where it was coming from.
"Kirstie, it's from down there. We need to get you to the hospital now." Lindsay said. My stomach cramped again, making me roll onto my side and curl into a ball.
"What's happening?!" I cried, only feeling the pain from my stomach. I was so dizzy that I didn't notice someone pick me up and carry me to the car. By the time we arrived at the hospital, I was only just able to focus on things around me. Scott carried me into A&E as Kevin ran up to the desk to sign me in and tell them what was wrong.
The boys came with me when my name was called and gathered around the bed whilst the doctor got an ultrasound machine. A nurse came in and gave me some pain relief, which I was so grateful for. I had a feeling I knew what the doctor was going to say, but I needed to hear it from her. She did the normal ultrasound routine, but this one was very important.
"Here's the girl. She's perfectly fine." The doctor said.
"And the boy?" Scott asked nervously. The room went deadly silent as the doctor move the wand around my stomach, looking for my other baby.
"Is the boy okay?" Kevin asked. The doctor made a sad face at the screen and looked at me.
"I'm very sorry. The boy has not survived."
