"Have you been okay?" he asked
"No, not really" she answered hesitantly
"Why?" He asked, oblivious.
'Because of you!' she screamed on the inside, too prideful to let the words come out.
"Forget it" she answered at last"Okay, I'm here for you." He said, meaning every letter, yet, his pride didn't let him be upfront and genuine about his feelings.
That's what pride does to you,
keeps you waiting.
